Alex felt the blade forming on his left hand, the one the monster wasn't pressing with its arm. The young elf pressed it fast against the creature's abdomen. Alex felt the weapon piercing through armor and connecting with the dog's abdomen.
The creature grunted and released the grip on Alex's neck slightly. The young man kept striking his ethereal blade into the monster, who, after the third hit, hurled him again to the far end of the room.
"UH, THIS CAN BE MORE FUN THAN I WAS SUSPECTING WHEN I SAW YOUR FACE. YOU CAN ALREADY SUMMON YOUR MIST BLADE." The monster muttered inside the darkness.
Alex crashed against the wall and rose up as fast as he could. He searched the room and tried to find Bogath. This monster clearly had answers, but it was simultaneously eager to kill him. The young elf would get the answers he could, but his life would not be the cost of it.
