บท 11: Final Year 's Bell
The sound of the bell 🔔 was heard and all the students settle down for their first lesson of the day.
Some of the final year students could be seen chattering away in their classroom while some like the nerds were reading their books 📙 even with the loud noise emitting all through in the classroom.
Mr Andrew, their homeroom teacher walked in with a new student. The whole class went silent as they all diverted their attention to them. Ryan and Claire were shocked to see her attending P. H. S. They knew she had moved to the city to stay with her aunt but they never expected to meet her again
" Good morning sir " The class greeted Mr Andrew.
" Good morning students, how was your nights ".
" It was good sir ".
" Well, class we have a new student. Introduce yourself " Mr Andrew gestured to the girl beside him.
" l' m Bianca Evans " Bianca voiced out.
Bryan gasp silently, her voice was soo enchanting and she also have a nice name.
The whole class stare at her expectantly, waiting for her to say more about herself but she kept quite, not saying anything else. Mr Andrew turned his head to look at her after some seconds when he noticed she wasn't saying anything else.
" Hmmm.....I guess...that all, right ??? " Mr Andrew finally broke the silence.
" You can take that seat over there " He added pointing at an empty seat.
Bianca nodded and walked past Ciara who was sitting at the front the class towards her seat which was located at the back. Mr Andrew walked out as soon as she get to her seat.
Bryan felt his heartbeat increase as she walked past him and then sat on seat behind him.
" Hi, am Cherry, it nice to meet you ".
He heard her seatmate said to her and then he heard her hummed a reply. He shifted uncomfortably on his seat.
A teacher walked in and teaching commence for the day.
Bianca listened to the teacher with rapt attention while Bryan couldn't even concentrate.
How could he concentrate when Bianca was sitting right there behind him. Is she looking at him ??? Does she find him attractive as well ??? Of course she does, who wouldn't ??? Did she like him too ??? Does her heart flutter for him the same way his flutter for her ??? If it does then why isn't she talking to him ???
" Don't be silly, she possibly can't talk to you right now with a teacher in the class " He scolded himself silently.
He sighed silently and take his hand to his hair, he moved some strands of his hair obstructing his view to the back and shifted uncomfortably again. What is this girl doing to him ???
After four long hours of learning, the bell was finally rang for lunch break and all the students rushed out and head to the cafeteria.
🌭🌮🌭🌮AT THE CAFETERIA🌮🌭🌮🌭
Bianca and Ciara chose a table, brought out their home made food and began to eat since they don't have enough to afford the one sold in the school cafeteria.
The angels and Cathy alongside her minions walked into the Cafeteria at the same time.
The angels sat around their usual table and Cathy and her minions sat around the table close to them. Their food was brought to them on their tables unlike the others who have to go get it themselves.
Cathy and her minions left their table and head towards Ryan and Claire's. Bella was holding a bottle of water.
They stop when they got to the table of their first prey which was Ryan and Claire. Bella passed the water in her hand to Cathy.
Ryan and Claire raised their head wondering what Cathy was up to.
Cathy opened the cover of the water in her hand and spill it all over their food with a smirk on her face.
" Hey, what do you think you are doing " Ryan asked as he stood up.
" Teaching an idiotic commoner who think he can bear the same name with my sweetheart a lesson. So what are you gonna do hit me, beat me or what ??? " Cathy asked and cackling evilly with her friends.
" You are nothing but the son of a useless waitress and your girlfriend is nothing but a gold digger who live on other people's wealth " Cathy said and by this time the attention of almost every students in the cafeteria was already on them.
" I want you to know that i am the daughter of the school president and i do whatever i want in this school. If not for my dad who was nice enough to give the son of a waitress like you a scholarship, do you think you would be in a school as big as this ??? I mean your mum is just a poor waitress who can't afford this " Cathy stated matter-of-factly.
" I won't have you insult my mother " Ryan said already boiling in anger.
" One more word from you young man, and i promise i will make sure your scholarship is withdrawn. Not only that, i will also make sure your mum is fired from wherever she is working " Cathy said with a frown on her face.
Ryan looked at her wide eyed.
" Well, am coming back and your girlfriend might be my next prey but right now i have someone else to take care of " Cathy said and walked towards Bianca table with her minions.
Ciara who was eating dropped her spoon 🥄 immediately she saw Cathy walking towards them. Her heart began to pump fast in fear.
" Hey newbie " Cathy said immediately she got to Bianca's table. Bianca ignored them and continued eating her food without raising her head.
" The air around here is contaminated recently, i mean the rate at which commoners attend our school now is quite alarming "
When Cathy noticed that Bianca was playing the dumb game with her, she angrily pushed the food Bianca was eating away making some spill on Bianca's skirt.
Bianca hissed angrily and raised her head.
" Seems like i finally get your attention ".
" Heard you are just a useless orphan ".
" She must be soo happy that her parent are dead " Jessica chipped in. Bianca glared angrily at them.
" If her parent weren't dead, then maybe she wouldn't have to live with Ciara and her parent and if she doesn't live with them, maybe she wouldn't be able to attend a school like this even in her dreams " Bella added and they laughed.
Bianca banged her table and stood up.
Bryan who couldn't take it anymore stood up to stop Cathy at the same time Bianca stood up.
Adrian who was standing at the door of the cafeteria watching the show decided to stop Cathy and act like Bianca's knight in shining armor and began to walk towards Cathy.
" Do you wanna beat us for saying the truth ??? I mean if your wretched parent ......."
" Cathy !!!! " Bryan shouted cutting her off and then ....
SLAP......
A loud thunderous slap was sent across Cathy's face as Bryan called her name. The fact that the slap was unexpected made her loose balance and fall on the cold floor. A loud gasp was heard in the cafeteria. Her ear stung and her vision became blurry at first. Tears stream down her cheeks immediately. No one has ever raised their hand against her.
With her hand on her cheek, she raised her head to see who slapped her and she was shocked.
It turned out to be .........

Guess who slapped Cathy. Is it:
Bianca who clearly won't allow anyone to intimidate her
OR
Bryan who won't sit still and watch someone intimidate his crush
OR
Adrian who looks like he will do anything to make Bianca fall for him even if it means hitting his sister. I mean the idiot wanted to act like her knight in shining armor, i no know if na disney junior character him think he be.
