Worried Star, The DIY Big Bang
It's been a week since my unbelievable demonstration of power, and yet I still can't quite wrap my mind around what I did. I keep replaying the moment in my mind, trying to understand how I managed to cut someone in half across such an impossible distance.
As I go about my daily routine, the memory of that moment keeps nagging at the back of my mind. It feels like I've unlocked some hidden ability or power that I didn't know I had, and it's both exciting and troubling. I can't help but wonder if there are any other hidden powers within me that I have yet to discover.
As I go about my daily routine, the memory of that moment keeps nagging at the back of my mind. It feels like I've unlocked some hidden ability or power that I didn't know I had, and it's both exciting and troubling. I can't help but wonder if there are any other hidden powers within me that I have yet to discover.
Without hesitation, I open up the system menu and bring up my ability list. As I look it over, I can't help but be surprised by what I see. My list of abilities has somehow grown, with several new entries that I don't recall being there before.
One of the new abilities catches my eye in particular. It's called "Infinite Reach" and is listed under my "Combat" stat. Curious, I click on it to read the description.
I click on the "List All Abilities" button and wait for the system to pull up a comprehensive list of all my abilities. After a moment, a list appears on the screen in front of me, neatly organized by category.
"Conceptual Manipulation," (The ability to manipulate, create, destroy and control any conceptual abstractions within the limits of the system's processing power)
"Infinite Reach," (The ability to extend the range of any melee attacks to beyond any distance)
"Unbounded Movement," (Move effortlessly in any/all conditions.)
"Untouchable," (Be immune to everything.)
I pull up the "Create New Ability" option under the "Conceptual Manipulation" category. A new window pops up on the screen, prompting me to input the name and description of the ability I wish to create.
The system acknowledges my input and lists the new abilities under the "Conceptual Manipulation" category.
"Black Star" (The ability to create an attack that can bypass even the strongest defense and destroy any opponent)
"White Star" (The power to create supernatural Abilities without limit)
As I'm marveling at the new abilities I've just created, a sudden sensation of pain and surprise washes over me. I look around wildly, trying to figure out what's happening, and that's when I see it: someone has just appeared out of nowhere and attacked me!
The attacker is a person I don't recognize, dressed in all black, and they move with a speed and grace that suggests they're not someone I could easily handle. Without warning, they hit me with a powerful strike that sends me flying backwards.
The intense pain I feel is momentarily forgotten as I'm suddenly struck by an uncontrollable fit of laughter. It's as if the sight of this dangerous attacker in front of me has suddenly struck me as hilariously ironic, and I can't help but find the situation absolutely hysterical.
Without any warning, I suddenly reach out and swing my sword at the attacker with all my might. The blade glimmers in the light, seemingly enhanced by some force beyond my comprehension, and it slices through the attacker with an ease I never thought possible.
But as the blade connects, the strangest thing happens: the entire galaxy starts to shake and crack like a glass shattering in slow motion. The force of the attack radiates out from the point of impact, and I watch with horror as the whole galaxy begins to disintegrate before my eyes.
As I stand there, watching the galaxy disappear before my eyes, I suddenly remember the "White Star" ability I created with my "Conceptual Manipulation." Without hesitating, I quickly envision a new galaxy, and without a moment's delay, it appears before me, identical in every way to the one that was just destroyed.
I watch in fascination as the new galaxy forms before me, the stars and planets taking shape out of thin air. I feel a sense of power and control wash over me as I realize that I now have the ability to create entire galaxies at will.
As I stand there, basking in the glory of my newfound power, the system suddenly chimes in, adding a new ability to my list: "Galaxy Creation."
I look over my list of abilities, and sure enough, "Galaxy Creation" is listed as the newest addition. I feel a sense of satisfaction wash over me as I realize what this means: I now have the power to shape the universe to my will, creating entire galaxies with just a thought.
As I stand there, marveling at my new ability, I suddenly sense the presence of another person nearby. Looking up, I can't believe my eyes: a new opponent has materialized out of nowhere and is now standing in front of me, staring at me with a blank stare on their face.
My heart rate starts to increase as I realize that I'm suddenly in a dangerous situation. I have no idea who this new opponent is, or what abilities they possess. But I know that it's time to be on my guard and prepare for a potential fight.
"I'm not trying to fight you." They suddenly say.
The unexpected reply throws me off guard, and for a moment I just stand there, confused. I hadn't expected the stranger to be so calm and non-threatening considering the calmly situation. But as I look at them more closely, I realize that they seem serious about not wanting to fight.
"So, what's your ability?" I say.
The stranger looks at me for a moment, as if deliberating whether or not to answer my question. Finally, they speak up, their voice steady and even.
"My ability is called 'Death.' I can kill anyone with just a thought, and it's automated too, if I sense any thought of hostility, they instant die."
The stranger seems surprised by my reaction, as if they expected me to be more afraid or intimidated. But for some reason, their ability doesn't seem to faze me. Maybe it's because I have so many different powers myself, or maybe it's just my natural demeanor. Either way, I just stand there, looking at them with a calm expression.
"You're awfully calm for someone who's just heard about my ability," the stranger observes.
"It's not like I'm going to attack you." I say.
The stranger nods, seeming a little surprised by my lack of aggression.
"Fair enough. Most people would try to attack me as soon as they heard about my skill," they say. "But you're not like most people, are you?"
"I only attack in self defense." I say.
The stranger takes a closer look at me, studying me intently.
"I can see that you're different from most people," they say. "You don't seem to be interested in attacking me, even though you know what I'm capable of. Why is that?"
"It's not even worth it." I say.
The stranger raises an eyebrow, clearly intrigued by my response.
"Not worth it?" they ask. "Are you saying you're not worried about my ability at all?"
The stranger's expression turns serious as they contemplate my request. After a moment, they speak up.
"You want a reason to fight me? I'll give you a reason."
They take a step towards me, their eyes narrowing in intensity.
"Give me a reason why I should fight you." I say.
The stranger's expression turns serious as they contemplate my request. After a moment, they speak up.
"You want a reason to fight me? I'll give you a reason."
They take a step towards me, their eyes narrowing in intensity.
"If you fight me, you'll get the chance to test your limits and see how far you can push yourself. You'll get to see what you're truly capable of when pitted against a real challenge."
???? "I already removed any possible limits as a concept for me." I say.
The stranger's eyes widen in surprise at my response. Clearly, they hadn't expected me to be able to do such a thing.
"You've removed your limits as a concept for yourself?" they ask, incredulously.
"Besides, I'm doing all these impossible feats at 1%" I say.
The stranger looks at me with a mixture of shock and fascination.
"1%?" they repeat. "You're saying that you're only using 1% of your power right now?"
"I haven't even removed any of my seals, I have about 3,402,193,822,311 of them." I say.
The stranger's mouth literally drops open in shock as they hear the number of seals that I've placed on myself.
"3,402,193,822,311?!" they exclaim. "That's a ridiculously high number of seals! How are you even still functioning with all those restrictions on your power?"
"If I been remove one seal, the whole multiverse will instantly explode." I say.
The stranger's face turns pale as they hear this revelation.
"If you remove just one seal, the whole multiverse will explode...?" they repeat, as if barely believing what they're hearing. "How is that possible? What kind of power are you even hiding that requires so many seals to contain it?"
Actually no...there will be nothing left, no outerverse, no nothing.
The stranger's eyes widen in terror as they realize the magnitude of the power that I'm holding back with my seals.
"Not just the multiverse," they say, their voice shaking. "If you remove just one seal, you'll destroy everything. The outerverse, the multiverse, everything... it would all be gone in an instant."
The stranger's words are cut off by a sudden sense of dread that washes over me. I can feel my body start to shudder and convulse, as if something inside me is being unleashed.
"AHHHH!!!" I scream, feeling an overwhelming force start to overcome me. "ALL MY SEALS ARE COMING OFF!!!"
With a loud roar, I suddenly feel the seals on my power start to break and shatter, one after the other. The force of their destruction rippling through me and causing a blinding pain to erupt throughout my body.
"NOOOO!!!" I howl, struggling to keep control over the power being unleashed.
With a loud roar, I suddenly feel the seals on my power start to break and shatter, one after the other. The force of their destruction rippling through me and causing a blinding pain to erupt throughout my body.
"NOOOO!!!" I howl, struggling to keep control over the power being unleashed.
The force of the explosion is beyond comprehension. In a single moment, all existence is erased from reality. Every celestial body, every planet, every star, every atom and molecule, every universe, every complex multiverse, and every outerverse disappear in a blinding flash of light, leaving nothing but an endless black vacuum behind.
As soon as everything is erased by the force of my power, I quickly trigger my new ability, "Worried Star." Without a moment's delay, everything starts to rebuild, piece by piece. The stars, galaxies, planets, and entire universes and outerverses all re-form before my eyes.
