บท 433: Dance of blades

Scorr's swords floated behind his back, forming a large halo of steel. While the rest of his team spread around, focusing on distracting the Starspawn scout with long-range physical attacks just powerful enough to pierce his shield, Scorr led the attack.

Cael watched it all from the side, masking his aura but ready to strike if the situation grew dire. It shouldn't. All teams did great on the test.

The Starspawn was ready to be found, ready to fight—but the sudden attack of the Exterminators was still a surprise for him. The canine-like creature floated gracefully through the air, avoiding the most attack to gather power for offense, but there was frantic energy in his mana.

He released it as dozens of beams, aimed not only at the Exterminators themselves, but around them too. The Starspawn already understood their reliance on dodging and tried to fight against it.
