บท 89: Immortal Witch
"hey, what do you want me to do by giving me this power?.." Lelouch asked the mysterious woman who gave him the power who was currently lying motionless like a corpse.
...Boom...
The sound of an explosion behind him immediately startled Lelouch and made him temporarily turn his gaze to the fifth generation Knightmare from Britannia who appeared from behind the damaged wall.
'Why are all the Britannian soldiers dead?..' thought the driver of the purple Sutherland.
The Sutherland driver was a young woman with bluish-gray hair, yellow eyes, and dark skin.
"What's going on?! What is a Britannian student doing here?!" The woman asked Lelouch from inside the Knightmare.
"Answer me, or else...!" The woman said as she shot at the wall behind Lelouch.
"Get out of there! Right now!" Lelouch did not answer the woman's question and immediately tried to use the power of Geass to hypnotize the woman but failed because she was inside the Knightmare and did not look Lelouch's eyes directly.
After Lelouch discovered that Geass could only be used when the opponent was looking directly at him, he immediately pretended to surrender and disguised himself as a nobleman and asked the woman to check his identity.
After hearing that Lelouch was a Britannian noble, the woman immediately left the Knightmare.
When the woman came out of the Knightmare, Lelouch immediately asked the woman to hand over the Knightmare to him.
Due to the power of Geass, the woman obediently handed over her Knightmare along with the password.
After Lelouch got the Knightmare password, he immediately entered the cockpit before rushing away according to the route on the map in the Knightmare without checking C.C's condition again because he felt that the mysterious woman was dead after being shot in the head.
"What am I doing here?.."
After Lelouch left, the female Knightmare driver immediately came to her senses and became confused as to why she was here. After thinking for a long time and not finding the answer, ahe hurried away because she still had a mission to do.
"They are gone, you don't need to pretend to be dead"
Noah said to C.C who was still lying like a corpse when he suddenly appeared in a previously empty place in front of C.C.

After waiting for a while, C.C still didn't move.
"I know you're not dead, C.C the immortal witch" Noah said helplessly when he saw C.C still pretending to be dead.
"Who are you?!, how do you know about me?!" After finding out she couldn't pretend to be dead, C.C immediately woke up and asked Noah how he knew about her.
"That's a secret, I know more about you than just your name," said Noah with a mysterious smile.
C.C is an immortal witch, who does not suffer from age and cannot be killed by conventional means. She has been gunned down several times, crushed by water pressure, burned at the stake, decapitated with a guillotine, placed in an iron maiden, and impaled with a spear all of which she managed to recover from, but still feels the pain.
In the past C.C was just an orphan who grew up in the church, at one point C.C received the Geass that made everyone love him from the church nun. At first everything was fine, but over time the power of Geass got out of control and made everyone become fanatical in love with C.C. It was at that moment that she realized that the love brought by the power of Geass was fake.
After C.C returned to the nun and wanted to ask for a solution on how to control the Geass power that had gone out of control, the nun laughed like a madman for a long time before transferring ownership of the Code to C.C. Even though the out-of-control Geass power had disappeared, since then C.C's painful life as an immortal witch had begun.
"Did you know, women won't like you if you only talk half-heartedly like that," said C.C, condemning Noah's behavior.
"You don't need to worry about that, there are many women who like me" Noah said lightly.
"So, who are you and what do you want from me?" C.C asked after finding out that Noah didn't mean to tell her how he knew her.
"Forgive me for forgetting to introduce myself, my name is Noah Vermilion. I am a different existence from humans like you, as for what kind of existence, you can find out for yourself," said Noah with a playful smile after introducing himself.
"Oh? Like me?, are you also immortal?" C.C asked interested when she heard Noah's words.
"Even though I'm not immortal at the moment, my lifespan can reach several thousands years and unlike you who are weak, it's impossible to kill me," said Noah without explaining further how it was impossible to kill him.
"Interesting, I just don't know if what you said is true." Even though C.C was interested in what Noah said, she didn't immediately believe it, however, in her hundreds of years of life, she had never met someone like Noah.
"It's up to you whether you believe it or not, it's not important to me," Noah said with a shrug.
"So what do you want?" C.C. said
"I'm interested in the secret of your Code," said Noah without hiding it.
"Are you interested in my immortality? Immortality only brings suffering. If you want it you can take it yourself," said C.C calmly and not caring Noah was interested in his immortality because she would only feel happy if someone wanted and could take her immortality, she was tired with everything she's been through and doesn't have the will to continue living.
"I don't think it's like that, C.C. You just haven't found a purpose in life and you haven't been able to find someone to accompany you on a long journey," said Noah, disagreeing with C.C.'s statement.
"Maybe so"
C.C said without denying Noah's words.
"Then make a contract with me, for now I will accompany you until you find a purpose for living rather than ending your life meaninglessly" Noah said to C.C before activating the authority he took from Mithra.
"Quickly swear! Before me the contract holder! This is the covenant of the gods! Even if life will end, even if this world will end, even if it means going against all the gods! This is an absolute promise to be adhered to!"
When Noah's contract authority was activated, C.C immediately felt an invisible bond connecting her and Noah.
"It seems like you weren't lying when you said that you were an existence like me" said C.C as she felt a bond connecting them.
"Of course not, everything I said is true, then C.C, give me Geass and I will accompany you until you find your life's purpose" said Noah.
"I see" after that C.C without hesitation gave Noah Geass.
Each Geass ability depends on each person's wishes, so there are many variations of Geass abilities, such as C.C who wants love and gets a Geass that is able to make people give love to her, this love does not refer to love between men and women, but gives affection to C.C.
The Geass that Noah obtained was the ability to read the memories of humans who were the target of the Geass. Different from Mao's Geass for reading minds, Noah's Geass can read all of the target's memories.
Even though this ability overlaps with Yud's power which he copied based on Zafkiel Tokisaki Kurumi's tenth bullet, he doesn't care because he uses Geass only as a medium to access the Code.
"Would you like to come with me to watch your previous contractor battle?" Noah asked C.C.
"Sure, I also want to see how far he can reach with his Geass abilities" said C.C with an interested expression on her face.
After listening to C.C's answer Noah immediately summoned the wind to surround them before they disappeared with a gust of wind.
"This is one of your powers? Interesting, I've never seen a human being able to control the wind."
C.C said as they appeared not far from Lelouch's location.
"Prison Space"
Noah immediately created a different room so they could watch the battle up close without being noticed.
"They didn't see us?" C.C asked in surprise as they walked past the Britannian soldiers.
"No, because we are currently in a different space from where they are," Noah explained briefly.
After listening to Noah's explanation, C.C immediately understood what was happening because she also knew the existence of C's World which was in a different space, but she just didn't expect Noah to have such power that could even create a different space.
