She had used some type of hypnosis technique on him twice at that. Her body had been emitting certain types of pheromones that kept arousing his interest.

And with her eyes as the base, she was also pulling David into some kind of illusion but David didn't fall for it.

It was repeatedly making him seem infatuated with her, that his heart almost skipped a bit.

That was enough evidence to know the lady wasn't any good, so he took action without hesitation.
