บท 34: The Only One In His Eyes

 After spending two more days with her best friend, Ashley moved back to the villa. Not because she wanted to but because, knowing her mother, she would most definitely be dropping by to check up on her. Especially when she knew she was regaining memories she didn't want her to have. If she didn't stay in the villa, she would risk getting on her mother's bad side which was something she had to avoid.

 Also, Li Corp was throwing a gala in celebration of its forty-fifth anniversary and out of respect for her in-laws, Ashley had to go. And that too, with Nathan. Although she wanted a divorce, it hadn't been finalized yet. Showing up to the event without Nathan would have the press spreading rumors: something she didn't want. She wanted to cleanly break off her ties with Nathan without any hassle.
