บท 109: She can't move on

Beth smirked at her. She had intentionally invited Jack to the party to get this exact reaction from Mia. Jack had only agreed to go because there was no way he could get access to the venue without an invitation card. He would do anything to get to see Mia.

As Mia followed the usher to her table, her hand tightly held by Declan, Jack couldn't help but feel jealous. She was supposed to be in his hand, as his wife, but now wasn't the time to create a commotion. He allowed his gaze to wander over her dress which enhanced her beauty even more. If he always thought Mia was beautiful, now he thought she was like a mythical creature as no human was supposed to be that beautiful. There was no way he was going to agree to divorcing her; as long as she was still legally married to him, no man could have her, he thought.

Beth sensed Jack's gaze and elbowed him. "Let's go. Can't you see she has already moved on? When will you?"
