"Did you sleep well? Are you hungry? Are you sore? Shall I call for an Eastern Medicine doctor and have him prepare some concoction for you? Do you feel little kicks? How is our bun? Is it rising, baking, or just flat?" He asked her a series of questions with a straight and serious expression.

Zhao Lifei paused. Then she burst out laughing at how adorable he was behaving. She squeezed her arms out of his iron-grip and used them to wrap her hands behind his head. "You're so cute, my nagging wife." She blissfully said. "I slept too good for it to be real, what about you?"

"My sleep doesn't matter, yours does. How's your hunger level? Does it hurt anywhere? Shall I have someone schedule an appointment with an OB-GYN? Nevermind, you shouldn't go anywhere. I'll bring them to you."
