บท 363: 363- Red-Handed

"Dad. Can I play on the porch with my friends?" Alexander asked his father who was busy talking to his wife about some serious matter. 

Like other kids, he was excited to see his dad, bringing Legos and the other toys for him. But after initial excitement, he wanted to play with his friends.

"Sure, my heart!" he kissed Alexander's forehead and slapped a hand on his bum, "Stay near the house."

Alexander left while jumping happily. 

"It's good that he wants to play. It means he will be tired and sleep soundly, letting us do whatever we want," he whispered near Sheila's ear and Sheila's ears turned red in an instant.

"Shut up!" she slapped his arm and tried getting up, but Shane hurriedly pulled her back, settling her on his lap.

"I love you!" he said burying his face into her bosom and Sheila drew his face tightly against her. She couldn't believe she was so lucky to have him in her life.
