บท 190: 190- Emotionally, Mentally, Physically

"I want to become a mom. I want to carry Rafael's child here," Valerie's lips quivered when she placed her palm on her flat belly, rubbing it gently.

Today she was depressed more than ever. 

"Oh, Valerie," Nina covered her hand with her own, "I'm so sorry."

They were in the car, going back to the hotel from the office. After experiencing humiliation when Marissa got inside the office, they didn't know what to do anymore with their time.

They still couldn't get hold of Rafael.

The moment Valerie heard comforting words from Nina, she couldn't take it anymore and started crying. Her napkin was pressed against her mouth.

"I could never tell you, but I tried for a baby. I swear, I tried. I've been going to several doctors for the past three years," she hiccupped, "B…but Rafael… he stopped showing interest in me."

Valerie had to keep it low, because of the presence of the driver.
