บท 96: Golden Boy, Empyrean

When Skotos had a craving for "mortal hearts" and planned to send his son, Gorak to fetch them, Gorak walked out on him, choosing rather to fend for himself than to let himself fall into depravity like his father.

A wise decision.

Rather than running off to live with his mother, Fotia, Keeper of Light, and his sister, Lilyak in the peaceful safety and tranquility of the Keeper Realms, Gorak chose to live alone, so as not to complicate their lives.

Starting fresh with a new identity as a regular teenage commoner, Gorak lived alone on the far side of the Keepers Realms for 8 Keeper years, free of his father's oppressive, traumatising watch, training daily to become stronger. 

He was free, happy, and even making friends! All was going great!

Until... 

...he decided to challenge Empyrean, son of the Head Keeper to improve his social status!

THIS was the beginning of his troubles.
