"D-Director?!!…." 

The Old Man's exclamation was akin to thunder in… never mind. 

Hearing this, Jack didn't even raise a brow. He simply kept munching on cookies. So this silver modder guy was actually the director of the Hospital? That explained a tiny bit. 

Yet the atmosphere remained utterly strange, a certain director once again inwardly gasping. In those dark eyes, he saw intelligence coupled with so much confidence. 

The kid had understood who he was. He just didn't give a damn, simply awaiting calmly. Seeing this, he addressed the Old Man himself. "Mister Log—"

Groceries were powerfully dropped, cutting him short… 

"Hehe, there's no need for formalities, not between us. What brings you here, director?" The man who had been flustered a second ago was suddenly showing so much strength?!
