บท 115: Chapter 115 : The King Of Curses 3
Yuta didn't hesitate anymore when dealing with the likes of Sukuna, he just couldn't hold back anymore. That curse spirit, that was okay, he knew that if nothing work then he can just go full-on Hulk on his ass and punch him until he is reduced to dust if nothing works but Sukuna was different. He can literally die any second if he isn't careful enough.
'Thank god that Sharingan can see even those invisible slashes from him.' That was one thing which Yuta was really happy about.
With One For All at 30%, he dashed forward, aiming a powerful punch at Sukuna. The cursed king dodged but now finally it felt like he was having a problem with handling Yuta's speed. No matter whether he is Sukuna or not, OFA 30% is still very powerful, not to mention fast, but surprisingly his speed matched Yuta's even in this case, making Yuta grin internally, though he was still doing the best he could do like he has yet to use Soru or other go upto OFA 40% as he didn't felt like it.
"I can't see any curse energy from you and yet you are this strong, brat who exactly are you? Now you gotta explain how you are doing this ?" Sukuna looked more and more interested in how Yuta was countering him and how suddenly his physical power and speed both increased like this.
Yuta on the other than felt that with OFA 30, he is pretty much at break-even with Sukuna. And though he personally doesn't believe that getting the rest of his 19 fingers gonna make him 19 times stronger it was still frightening how much stronger he could get if that were to happen.
Gulping Yuta punched hard at Sukuna, Yuji was dead one way or another at this point so there was no reason to stop. If given enough time then maybe Yuta can use his RCT to help him. But that remains to be seen.
Sukuna saw the punch coming at him with incredibly fast speed, even though he was having trouble dodging those punches at this time.
Megumi summoned his shinigami, sending them to attack from different angles. More or less he was distracting Sukuna though it was clear at this point that Yuta didn't actually need the help.
The only problem was how to actually beat this guy. Only punching is not gonna stop Sukuna now, would it. Maybe RCT but that is against the mission.
Sukuna countered with a flurry of strikes, his movements were fast and though he was still looking like he was enjoying himself his face didn't have the ease it had earlier. Yuta was pushing him back and he just couldn't take it with just one finger's worth of power. He batted away Megumi's shinigami with irritation as he sent and dismantled and blocked Yuta's next punch, though it cost him as OFA 30 is no joke, that punch broke his hand which again healed on its own very quickly. The sheer force of the block sent Sukuna skidding backwards.
Megumi by now was both stunned and confused, he saw Yuta pushing back Sukuna with that punch, he could even feel the pressure of that one punch from that distance.
'How the hell is he that strong.' Megumi was confused, rightfully so as he couldn't feel any curse energy coming from Yuta. Making him confused.
At first, Megumi just chucked it away that Yuta was too good at hiding his Curse Energy but now. It doesn't make sense at all. This further made him question Yuta's real identity. It's not like he himself doesn't understand the concept of heavenly restriction, he also knows what happens to twins in the world of Jujutsu.
He has met Okkotsu before, it no doubt that that boy holds the most amount of curse energy Yuta has ever seen in anyone to date. And now upon seeing Yuta here. Looking exactly like Okkotsu, having almost zero curse energy yet just a powerful physic. Even someone like Megumi with not much knowledge or experience of the Jujutsu world can figure out the connection.
He also thought along the same lines as Gojo, those elders or Yaga did.
"Megumi, what the hell are you doing," Yuta shouted again, now really getting annoyed at the boy.
Megumi was startled and then immediately shook his head, he needed to get his act together, right now wasn't the time to think about that thing, so he acted.
Going close wasn't a good idea for him when Sukuna was throwing those slashes all around, somehow Yuta dodged them, but Megumi had no belief in himself to being able to do the same, so he acted just like a summoner and kept his distance while his shinigami took the action, which again was most distracting Sukuna.
The one thing which was going for Sukuna more than anything right now was his experience of fighting people. Even with Sharingan on, Yuta was no match to the king of curses in this aspect.
Yuta was not the only one who was able to dodge attacks, after breaking his hand, Sukuna also started to dodge the attacks from Yuta.
This kind of put Yuta in contemplation. If he can heal then why even bother dodging?
He pondered and then remembered something All Might did back to Nomu in anime.
"Just because you can absorb shocks doesn't mean you are immune to them. I just have to punch faster that you can absorb the blows."
Yuta's eyes lid up, he in all this fighting never thought about it. Maybe he didn't need RCT to beat that previous curse in the first place. It's just that he has to keep up attacking until this Sukuna just doesn't have any more Curse Energy to heal or Yuji's body itself can no longer keep up.
His eyes lid up, now he knew that he was in for a long game here. This means he has to save his HT as much as possible and only use it to inflict damage on Sukuna.
So he closed his Sharingan and only decided to use those eyes when absolutely he had to with the help of Spider-Sense.
Decided to put all of his remaining HT in OFA.
" Megumi Stay back!" Yuta shouted, as jump back.
'OFA 40'
Immediately the lightning crackling around his body rose and the intensity increased, 40% was the level at which Yuta's hair and eyes started to change colour from their usual black to blue.
This change of course wasn't gone unnoticed by both Sukuna and Megumi. It's just that they can't say how strong Yuta currently is. Because there was no curse energy to do that for them.
They rely too much on curse energy.
He dashed in, blocking Sukuna's path and launching a powerful kick. Sukuna deflected it, but Yuta followed up with a flurry of punches, forcing Sukuna to defend.
Sukuna felt it, now Yuta was even stronger. Even for him who has lived for thousands of years, this was strange. But right now he didn't have time to ponder over this as Yuta finally started to damage him to the point that his healing was getting affected.
"You're persistent," Sukuna sneered, his eyes still gleaming with amusement. But it was certain that now he was getting not only pushback but also getting beaten.
"What!" Megumi was taken aback at Yuta's sudden increase in power again.
Yuta unleashed a devastating punch, his fist glowing with the power of One For All. It connected with Sukuna's chest, sending him crashing into the ground. The impact created a massive crater, with dust and debris flying everywhere.
But Sukuna wasn't done. He rose from the rubble, a sinister grin on his face. "Impressive, very impressive."
Sukuna too pondered, right now with just one finger's worth of power, he really was not enough to beat this brat. Well not until he uses his domain to kill him, the problem is that that might ruin his plan as they later on kill his vessel.
So though he wanted to, he refrained from opening his domain here.
He launched a counterattack, his movements a blur. Yuta and Megumi struggled to keep up, the relentless assault pushing them to their limits.
"Soru."
"Finger Piston"
With a surge of energy, Yuta unleashed powerful punches and six-style attacks, catching Sukuna off guard. The impact sent Sukuna reeling, and all this time Yuta could feel that Sukuna's healing was being affected.
It was true that after one point, even Sukuna would get affected, especially when he only had one finger worth of curse energy.
"You're a strong brat, I look forward to killing you and then bisect to see how you are doing that" Sukuna grim, his voice filled with dark amusement making Yuta shutter internally but he didn't let that show.
And then like things never happened, the tattoos from Yuji's body disappeared, and Yuta stood there in confusion before ultimately not having a heart made him fall.
Yuta and Megumi stood their ground, panting heavily, They desperately needed more time to comprehend what just happened.
"Shit, YUJI."
