บท 71: This meeting will not work

"What in hell's name is happening here?" Veron bellowed when he reached his living room to see five strange but familiar faces. People he never expected to see in his life again for any reason.

From the door, he already knew there were several people inside the house and wondered who they were, but coming to see their faces now sent waves of anger coursing through him.

Five council members from Silver Lake were seated comfortably in his living room with Gideon, Vera, and Mrs. Anthony.

They all sat up the moment they saw him, looking tense, but that was not his concern or problem. What they were doing in his house is what he couldn't fathom and wanted an answer instantly before he will lose it and send them back to Silver Lake in tiny pieces.

"Your Highness." All five of them chorused, standing up from their seat and lowering their head in greeting.
