บท 113: Can't leave with her

A soft sigh slipped past Cozan's lips. He closed the palm holding the medicine bottle and withdrew his hand. It was already apparent that she was scared and had thought the worst in her mind.

He couldn't blame her though. He had been too carried away that he forgot he was supposed to first explain things to her before attempting what he did.

"Alright." He sighed again, then waved his hands over the cuffs on her hands. They instantly clicked open and fell off her wrists.

Nori, who was already agitated and anxious as she didn't know if her demands had gotten Cozan angry, felt relief wash over her body.

His initial short silence almost killed her hope and she was already regretting yelling at him. However, the sudden freedom her wrists experienced after the cuffs fell off renewed her hope and made her unconsciously let out a shaky breath.

"May I?" Cozan asked, pointing at the collar on her neck and she responded by lifting her head to grant him access.
