Islinda placed her hand on her lap, her nails digging into her skin so hard to keep herself from depositing herself on Eli's lap and continuing from where they stopped. 

What in the Fae was going on with her? Eli had turned her into a wanton human. It wasn't this way with Valerie. No, she had been in perfect control of her emotions, nor did her body wag war against her self-control this much.
