"Shit, they're here," Daehyun said to Jihoon when they heard the war cries.

They were loud but the swords slicing down the Calindra wolves was too heart-wrenching. It wasn't a sound that any of the Calindra elites would ever get used to.

With his sword in his hands, Jihoon looked at his brother one more time before they rushed out to join their warriors. It was obvious that there wasn't room for negotiation and certainly, there wasn't room to try and make good of the promise to hand over Yanna.

Maybe that was a strategy they would be using next, right?

While Jihoon and his brother were fighting the Incayon warriors who had come at them, Kim Rania and the misfits had already made it to the pack house.
