บท 1209: Self-Reliant

After a while when Raelle and Shui Xian appeared outside, Cloe gave them a resentful look. Seeing how they freshly took a bath and had even changed their clothes, she didn't even have to think to know what had conspired inside the room in the past hour.

But she was suddenly wondering when did Shui Xian's clothes come to Raelle's office and why she didn't know about it? It seemed that her Chief was really prepared for every situation all the time. 

"You're still here?" asked Raelle.

Cloe took a deep breath and extended the file in her hand towards her, "I need your signature on this urgently."

"Oh," responded Raelle as she took the file and skimmed through the documents before signing them and giving it back to Cloe. Then, she had the audacity to say, "Don't work so late."

"You think I want to?" asked Cloe with a smile but it could be seen that she wasn't in the mood to smile. That smile was more like an angry one. "Chief!"

"Hm?"
