Zayne did not say anything, which meant that he was either too pissed to speak or too surprised to speak.

Camelia did not want to prolong this situation, so she first extended the olive branch to him.

"Look, it was just a short walk, but I will always inform you first if you feel conflicted about it. If you intend to keep me locked up all the time, I would like to ask you to reconsider. I am not a caged bird after all."

Zayne's mouth moved unhappily, but he finally sighed and allowed Camelia to move.

"You do have a point. The more I try to keep you here, the more you might resent me. So, it would be better to give you some freedom.

However, if you put yourself in danger like this again, I will not hesitate to lock you up in your room. Do you understand?"

Zayne asked, but Camelia was not worried about it.
