'Woah, this is so awkward. I should start a conversation so that I can distract Camelia. I am sure that it would be easier to kill her if she had her guard down.'

Claris thought over what she could do to start a conversation, but nothing much came to mind.

She did not have enough in common with Camelia or know her enough to make assumptions about her.

That was why Claris decided to pick a safe topic she knew all females liked to discuss.

"So, what make-up brand have you started to use? I use the Dungeon Hunter set to keep my face moist. What about you? Your face must get irritated easily because of your complexion."

Claris had always been a good speaker who could help relax nervous people. Speaking nonsense came naturally to her, so she chattered with Camelia.

She just wanted the other female to let her guard down.
