"3000, that's a really big number," Tony Stark closed the lights in Morgan's room and shut the door. "Hurry up and go to sleep, or I'll sell all your toys."
Morgan laughed happily.
"Although this isn't a competition, but she loves me three thousand times," Tony Stark immediately boasted to Pepper Potts when he entered the living room.
"Oh, really?" Pepper Potts looked up.
"You're probably somewhere between 600 and 900," Tony Stark remarked.
Pepper Potts burst into laughter.
"What are you looking at?" Tony Stark asked. Although he was speaking to Pepper Potts, his eyes were fixed on the successful model that Friday had simulated.
"A book about composting," Pepper Potts said.
"Is there a trick to composting?" Tony Stark asked.
"It's interesting science..."
"I've figured it out," Tony Stark suddenly said. "By the way."
"Are we talking about the same thing?" Pepper Potts looked up again.
"Time travel," Tony Stark said.
"What?" Pepper Potts was taken aback and paused for a moment. She then said, "This is... truly amazing, and also quite terrifying."
"Yeah," Tony Stark sat down on the couch.
"We're really fortunate," Pepper Potts said.
"Yeah, I know," Tony Stark said.
"Many people aren't as lucky," Pepper Potts said.
"True, and I can't possibly help everyone either," Tony Stark said.
"You seem like you can," Pepper Potts said.
"Unless I stop," Tony Stark said, "but telling you to stop is one of the few things I can't do in my life."
"Sometimes I really think I should lock it up in a box and sink it in the lake," Tony Stark chuckled, "then go to bed."
"But can you sleep soundly?" Pepper Potts asked the crucial question.
The answer was certainly no. If Tony Stark could sleep peacefully, he wouldn't have asked Friday to calculate time travel.
Meanwhile, Steve Rogers, Scott Lang, and their team had no idea that Tony Stark had refused them just moments before, but had already come up with the correct calculation result. They had sought out another "super brain," Bruce Banner, to conduct a time travel experiment.
"Alright, ready. Time travel test 1," Bruce Banner in his Green Doctor form said. "Scott, activate that thing in the car."
Scott Lang opened the back door of the car, revealing a high-tech tunnel.
"The circuit breaker is set, and the emergency generator is ready," Steve Rogers, dressed in a white shirt, approached.
"Good, because if we fry the grid, I don't want Ant-Man stranded in the 1950s," Bruce Banner said.
"What did you say?" Scott Lang, standing in front of the tunnel, couldn't help but ask.
"He's joking," Natasha Romanoff responded to Scott Lang, then turned to Bruce Banner, "You shouldn't say things like that."
"It's just a joke," Bruce Banner said.
"Are you joking, right?" Natasha Romanoff asked.
"I don't know either, it's time travel. It's either a joke or it's game over," Bruce Banner whispered, then he gave Scott Lang a thumbs-up and raised his voice, "We're ready."
Natasha Romanoff also smiled awkwardly yet politely.
"Put on your helmet," Bruce Banner said. "Scott, we're sending you back one week, have you stay there for an hour, and then bring you back 10 seconds later. Got it?"
"Completely understood," Scott Lang said.
"Good luck, Scott. You can do it," Steve Rogers said from the side.
"You're right, I can do it, Captain America." Scott Lang's figure disappeared in place, being sucked into the tunnel.
"Three-second countdown, three, two, one." Bruce Banner pressed the button, and the tunnel flashed with light. A figure was "spat" out.
Then, everyone was stunned. Before them appeared a child!
"Guys?" the child said. "This feels really wrong."
"Wait, who is that?" Natasha Romanoff questioned with confusion. "Is that Scott?"
"Of course, it's Scott," the child replied.
Bruce Banner pressed the machine, and the child Scott Lang was swallowed by the tunnel. When he emerged again, he had turned into an old man, and then into a baby.
Seeing that things weren't going well at all, the group had to pause the experiment.
Steve Rogers walked out of the door with a somewhat frustrated expression, standing outside to catch some fresh air.
At this moment, a luxury car pulled up.
"Why the long face?" Tony Stark, wearing sunglasses, rolled down the car window and said, "Let me guess, he turned into a baby?"
"Yes, and more," Steve Rogers asked, "Why are you here?"
"It's the grandfather paradox. You didn't send Lang through time; instead, you let time flow through him," Tony Stark got out of the car and said, "It's very dangerous. Someone should have reminded you to be cautious."
"You just did," Steve Rogers said.
"Oh, did I?" Tony Stark acted surprised, then raised a circular device in his hand, "Luckily, I'm here. Either way, I've solved it. A perfectly functional space-time locator."
Steve Rogers couldn't help but smile.
"I just want peace," Tony Stark closed the car door. "Hatred corrodes the soul, I hate it."
"Me too," Steve Rogers said.
"We have a chance to get the stones, but I need to tell you what I value the most," Tony Stark leaned against the car and said, "Finding what we lost, I hope so. And holding onto what I got, I must do whatever it takes. Maybe not necessarily dying for it, that would be best."
"Sounds good," Steve Rogers extended his hand.
Tony Stark shook Steve Rogers' hand and then opened the trunk, taking out a shield.
"Tony, is this appropriate?" Steve Rogers asked.
"What's wrong?" Tony Stark said. "He made it for you. And honestly, I had to get it out of the garage quickly, or Morgan would have taken it to slide around."
"Thank you, Tony," Steve Rogers took the shield.
"Can you keep it down? I haven't brought gifts for the whole team," Tony Stark closed the trunk, "Is the whole team here?"
"We're assembling the team," Steve Rogers said.
The video faded to black at this point.
"Is this positioning problem really that difficult?" Thor asked after watching the video. "Why does it seem so easy for Stark to solve?"
"Is it difficult? What do you think, Thor? That's time travel we're talking about!" Clint Barton said. "There are very few people in the world who can understand it."
"But Tony seems to have solved it so effortlessly," Thor said. "Just giving orders to Friday, tapping his fingers a couple of times, and it's done."
"That's because Tony is a genius," Steve Rogers said. "Thor's right, this problem isn't hard for him, but for everyone else, it's extremely challenging."
"No wonder for a while, Captain was using that black smaller shield. So, his shield had been with Tony all along?" Natasha Romanoff noticed this detail about Tony Stark returning the shield.
"It's probably because of the fallout from the Civil War," Nick Fury said. "Captain and Tony fought pretty violently during the Winter Soldier incident, and they really beat Tony up. That shield was actually made by Tony's father. So, Captain felt ashamed to use it and gave it back to Tony."
Nick Fury's guess was only half right. The shield came into Tony Stark's possession after Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes teamed up to beat him up, but it wasn't Steve Rogers who returned it to Tony; it was Tony who demanded it.
"So, it means that when Thanos attacked, Captain and Tony didn't fight side by side but separately. It seems that after the Civil War, their relationship was seriously affected," Phil Coulson said.
"They probably had a falling out," Clint Barton said, "Remember how Wanda and Vision had to split up because they promised different things to Captain and Tony? If Captain and Tony hadn't fallen out, Wanda and Vision wouldn't have had to do that."
"So, Tony returning the shield to Captain means that the grudges between them are resolved, and they can fight together again," Sam Wilson said.
"That's exactly right. Later, when they faced Thanos, Captain and Tony were fighting together," Thor said. "Of course, including me."

The video starts with Loki. He is wearing a peculiar outfit, holding a dagger in each hand, walking cautiously down a corridor.
There are many people lying on the ground.
It's clear that a battle had just taken place here.
Loki reaches the end of the corridor. A girl draped in a black cloak is there, and beside her lies a person knocked down. Clearly, she's responsible for the corridor being filled with fallen people.
"I have some questions for you," Loki tosses his daggers into the air and catches them again.
"Don't you have anything better to do?" the girl, who is also a female Loki, asks while holding a knife.
"Impertinent," Loki points one of the daggers at the girl. "Are you really Loki?"
"You're in my way," the girl, also known as Female Loki, says.
"You're in my way," Loki said.
Female Loki swung her knife.
"We might be able to cooperate," Loki blocked Female Loki's knife with his dagger and exchanged a couple of moves.
Bang!
Female Loki turned and kicked Loki in the chest.
"But it seems you lack foresight," Loki stepped forward confidently, engaging in combat with Female Loki again. "Either willingly come with me or not. Either way, you're my way of meeting the Time Keepers."
"For heaven's sake, shut up!" Female Loki snapped.
"Hey!" While Loki and Female Loki were in the midst of a heated fight, Ravonna Renslayer arrived with two guards.
"Come any closer, and I'll kill him," Female Loki immediately held the knife against Loki's throat in a threatening manner.
"Go ahead," Ravonna Renslayer was completely indifferent to Loki's life or death, approaching with something that resembled a stick.
At that moment, Loki took out a time device and pressed it. An instant later, a spatial portal appeared beneath their feet, and both Loki and Female Loki fell through it.
They landed in a room, and as soon as they regained their senses, they started struggling over the time device on the ground. Eventually, Female Loki managed to outmaneuver Loki and snatch the device.
"Goodbye, Temporal Variant," Female Loki was about to use the time device to open a portal and leave, but she realized it had run out of power.
Meanwhile, Loki, who had been knocked down by Female Loki, took advantage of her distraction to pounce on her, knocking her down again and taking back the time device.
"Give it back, you can't even recharge it!" Female Loki said after getting back up.
"Of course I can," Loki said, "You're not the only Loki who understands technology."
"Never call me that again."
"Understands technology?"
"No, Loki," Female Loki said as she tried to snatch the time device from Loki's hand again. But suddenly, a flash of light occurred, and the time device disappeared.
"It seems you're a sorcerer?" Female Loki remarked.
"Alright, next magic trick, I'll make you disappear," Loki extended both hands, conjuring two daggers.
And Female Loki raised her long knife.
Just as they were about to engage in another fight, a small meteorite fell from the sky, piercing through the roof.
"Is that your doing?" Loki asked.
"Where have you transported us to?" Female Loki asked.
Both of them rushed out of the tent, only to see small meteorites falling from the sky like rain.
"You moron!" Female Loki couldn't help but curse loudly, "This is Lamentis-1."
"I don't know what that means!" Loki looked up at the sky.
"This satellite is about to be hit and destroyed by that planet!" Female Loki started running, shouting as she went, "Of all the apocalypses stored in that time device, this is the worst one—no one survives!"
"I'm sorry, ma'am, I didn't have time to read the manual," Loki dodged the falling meteorites and hid under a car.
The scene freezes here, and the question appears:
