บท 66: Pregnancy test result

Aiden went out for lunch while Lilian stayed in the office, busy until Cooper, Allen's assistant, brought her meal. She took a break to eat and then had a quick nap before returning to work. Allen texted her, complimenting her as a superwoman but suggested she should take a moment to relax her muscles.

Lilian was pleased with his texts. Despite walking out on him like that earlier, she was relieved that he wasn't upset with her.

Meanwhile, Aiden arrived at the restaurant and spotted Katie, who looked glamorous and sweet. Although he found her attractive, his interest in her was largely physical. She had a way of satisfying him that left him feeling completely spent, a dynamic he hadn't experienced with any other woman.

"Hi," she greeted him as soon as she noticed him, unaware that he had seen her first. Aiden took a seat across from her and asked how she had been. Katie smiled and replied that she was doing well.
