Vincenzo drove into Roy's compound without any hassle. It was almost as if he was being welcomed. As soon as he stepped out of the car, though, different men began to fall out.
In no time, he was surrounded. The men were all around him with their rifles perfectly pointed at him. He knew there was a significant chance of entering a trap, but he didn't care.
However, the realization of the carelessness and thoughtfulness of his hastiness began to dawn on him. The slightest movement could mean his death, even before he had any chance to save Maria. However, his pride took over.
He would rather die trying to save the woman he loves than not do anything. He calmly stood in the middle, observing everything. He was tired of waiting for Roy, who he damn sure knew was aware of his arrival. He was going to scream the bastard's name when he saw him appear, but he wasn't alone.
