บท 50: The first hit
--Fwoosh!
A faint smell of metal wafted off as I burned the last silicone plate. The comprehensive toll was nowhere close to induce fatigue, but I couldn't say the same thing about my boredom.
It's been years, since I last had a fight with my life in line.
I won't say I miss my fight with Hades, but I would also say I miss it…
Wonder, how you'd describe that.... Denial?
Aside from the lack adrenaline rush, the rest of my projects were going pretty smoothly. I now had enough mana to assemble a Michigan Micro Mote!
It was a cubic millimeter, but hey! The smaller it is, the denser the complexity!
I levitated myself off the ground and flew above the clouds.
"Radar" A simple wave of mana spread out around me. It would've dispersed away had I not inputted the ridiculous amounts of mana.
"Ha! Found it!" I exclaimed in joy after locating the other continent.
I cast a quick blink spell consecutively to close the distance, blitzing through the clouds. My mana core now in the white stage made this maneuver so easy that it felt like breathing. The fresh breath of mana made me feel omnipotent.
But there is no such thing as free lunch…
My opponents are equally strong, if not stronger. It was suicidal to head there myself. Even with this power, the chance of ending the war tonight was close to 2%. That is….if Agrona keeps his side of the deal. As soon as he enters the picture, my chances drop to 0.1%
It is times like these when I miss my fusion with Alvitr. Forget the presence! I bet I could become a god by now, if I just had her by my side.
Aaaah…..those glorious plump cheeks~ It's criminal to be so pretty.

The jizz sucking voice echoed in my head~

Looking at the mass of land getting bigger from the horizon I readied my spell. If my suspicions were right, agrona would probably set up some detection spells to block the asuras from prying into his business.
So the tera-magic spell was mostly prepared in my mind, rather than in the loading phase.
Ding—!
Ding—!
The bells were rung as I blitzed through the entire port unannounced. I had no desire to sneak in when I could just flip the game board…
"█ █ █ █"
The mana swept a storm immediately as I started my chant. It's density caused the incoming mages to vomit from nausea, blood leaking out from their orifices as my spell took effect.
Brrrrrr—!
The clouds parted into two , revealing the start night sky.
'Ah, I wonder how Harleen is doing right now….'
I shook my head to clear the unneeded thoughts and spoke.
"█ █"
A bright light construct poked its head out from the parted skies. From below, it felt like the stars were merging into one body to carry out its caster's will.
Destruction.
The concept of erasure, rather than transform was harbored inside. It was the exact replica of the edict of destruction which Arthur had attained after entering the relic tombs.
….But I never had a desire to covet that knowledge.
The dijins had amassed their long history of their aether arts inside those tombs, which fueled Arthur's growth. It would be wrong to take it when I can do better by myself. I'd rather not weaken someone I have no beef with.
""You who desecrate this Land of the Rising Sun! With my advent, I, Yerusha, lay waste with the Sekki and expel thy vast defilement!
Rend!"
The four grand-mages used all their mana to conjure a massive sword of lightning, about 13 meters tall, and launched it my way.
It was a good strategy, to take down the magician before he can cast any more spells. They knew my spell was complete and there was nothing they could do to stop it, their only hope was to at least take me down before I could do further damage.
"Unfortunate…" I spoke while looking at their astonished faces as the sword lodged itself a few inches away from me, into the shield. It soon dissolved and merged with my shield, now more robust than before.
My light construct soon took the form of a veiled woman, it looked like a prism separating lights and encapsulating the colors within its crystalline structure.
"KRRRAAAAAA!" The screech of a banshee rang out and the entire port exploded in less than a second….
BOOOOOOOOM—!!!!
A giant mushroom cloud formed and smoke covered the night sky, save for my spell construct. It's gaint eyes gleamed through the brown smoke, still observing the growing explosion as it engulfed the city and a portion of the ocean.
Steam rose up as the intense heat evaporated the ocean water and shockwaves travelled down the road obliterating everything in it's path. Even the ground was not left untouched.
"Antimatter really is an overkill I guess…." The only thing left after the explosion is a bright light spreading faster than the explosion.
"Grease." I applied grease to my neck and saw as the sharp sword of a retainer slipped away. He was shocked for a few seconds before composing himself and sending a black spike my way.
'I wonder how it works?' The basilisk mana was said to bear the attribute of corrosion. So what would happen if I were to let it enter my core?
I didn't make another portal to block it and just let it pass through me.
Schaak—!
Hmm? Did this guy not expect me to take a hit? Why is he so shocked?
Ah, right…. We are fighting right now. I shook off the blood dripping from the hole in my chest and cast a healing spell on it, leaving the retainer shocked once again as he said something in a mocking tone before waiting for a response….
Oh….he doesn't know I have a filter spell on me to prevent unnecessary talk during a fight.
Too bad I suppose…
I isolated the corrupted mana by cutting off the infected portion along with it and….
Bang—!
Smoke came out from the barrel of my gun and the retainer stood there once again like an idiot taking the shot.
"Do you really think you can react faster than a gun?"
I said as the studs of metal inside his torso guarded him from the bullet by making a veil of shadow.
"You should get serious, bitch. Or you might lose this fight." It was unfortunate that my spell ran out while saying that, meaning I had no filter anymore. "Fight? Why do you think that a lesser like you is worth my time at all?" He said in a condescending tone, making a poor attempt to hide his fear.
"Your arms are shaking."
"What are yo-"
"Maintain more of your composure when speaking to me….Uto." I saw his face morph into shock before marring in hostility.
"I'll KILL YOU. LESSER!"
….. Oh jeez, I'm so scared. This is definitely the first time I'm in such a situation.
"Fuck off edge lord."
I waved my hand, and the air around him got heavier from the gravity amplifying spell circle, bringing him down. I'm not going to take turns attacking you while you go through the stages of grief.
"I don't have time for you. █ █ █ █ "
Once again the light construct with the attribute of destruction cried out, now obliterating uto and some other mages rushing in to help.
"I'd love to stick around and play with your corpse, but you see... antimatter doesn't leave a corpse. It leaves light." I said to seemingly no one before teleporting away to Elenoir, just in time to evade the dangerous spell from Agrona.
"Where have you been~"
A slender arm wrapped around my neck and pulled me into the bed as I teleported into her room.
"I think it's time to take this relationship to the next level…..Alea"
