Randy, the biker with Hello Kitty tattoo on his wrist who they suspect – it was pretty much proven now – led them to a room with 'Staff Only' written on the door.

Suspicious, that thought came out right away, blaring like an alarm in Keira's head before a dangerous situation most likely happened to her.

Behind her, Nate's presence gave a false comfort that nothing bad would happen. She kind of liked it – and hated it at the same time.

"After all this time, what are you so afraid of?" The mafia lord whispered, as if knowing what she had in mind.

She was pretty sure Nate had a vast knowledge on psychology and a keen ability to use it when the time was right. Or not right, depending on what perceptive is more favourable at the time being.

Keira almost pouted, but smothered her expression because she didn't want to be put in the same category as the mafia lord that coincidentally also her Most Annoying Patron of the Year.
