บท 48: Failing control

When Prudence went back to her room, she was constantly nursing Vincent in her mind. How rude and heartless the Mafia king was! Even though it had been only three days, she had been away from home, Prudence missed her people dearly. Every second she spent here was nothing but pain for her. 

There was a knock on the door before Nicola entered. Prudence was still awake and Nicola hadn't expected her to be up this late. 

"Apologises, Lady Prudence. I was just here to blow off the candles in the room," Nicola bowed.
