บท 87: A drop

Vincent did not give Prudence time to check herself out in the mirror to catch a glimpse of the mark on her neck. They left the manor right after breakfast. Prudence was still in her thoughts about Lilian and the situation where she had voluntarily become a slave to the Mafia King. "You have been quite busy with your thoughts today, planning for the wedding already?" Vincent commented as he shifted to sit close to her. 

It made Prudence immediately shift away from him further. "What wedding?" Prudence asked and the moment she did, Prudence realised what actually he was talking about, "you can keep dreaming about that." 

"I am a man who makes sure my dreams come true," Vincent teased her further to have her roll her eyes.
