"It's time," Brent said, standing at the door. My heart hammered in my chest instantly. Lara pulled away from the hug, and I hesitantly let go of her. She stood and cupped my face. 

"I will be alright." She whispered and pecked my lips. I took a deep breath and wrapped my arms around her. I buried my face in her tummy and nodded my head. I stood up as well after a minute and led her to the door holding her hand. Beside Brent stood Alex, his right hand. He is allowed to bring one of his men inside the ring, and I'm glad about that because another person is to protect Lara.

"I entrust her safety to you."
