Alliana's pov:

"Peluche?" Souline asked, her brows knitting together in confusion. "Yeah, it means Teddy in Spanish," I explained. "Ah, got it," Souline acknowledged with a nod. "Speaking of Teddy," I interjected, scanning the room for him. "Where did he disappear to?" I asked, puzzled by his sudden absence.

BARK! BARK!

"There's your answer," Souline remarked, nodding toward the staircase where Peluche had disappeared. We ascended the stairs and found him lounging on my bed, a mischievous glint in his eyes. My heart sank as I surveyed the scene before me. My favorite pillow lay in tatters, a casualty of Peluche's playful antics, and he seemed utterly pleased with himself.
