Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. Louisanna lost count already on how long she had been on the Inferno. It just felt like she had stayed in this hot place for so long that it almost felt like a lifetime.
"I miss my mom…" she whispered on the fire pit in front of her before she heaved a sigh, feeling hopeless.
The day Domhall got mad at her was the last time they saw each other. After that, he caged her in his room— the king's room. He placed a human-sized black cage on where she sleep and stayed while Domhall was here, doing his responsibilities as a king.
At first, she thought that he was being considerate to separate her from the other sinners in this place, knowing that the sinners here despised her presence.
However, she also realized that maybe, the reason why he specifically caged her in his personal room was to monitor her closely— to see her whatabouts, hear her mumbles, and to see if she would try to escape.
