The pinnacle of knowledge, yet no one listens or takes my advice.

I Lucious had dedicated my entire life to studying for the betterment of humanity. I had degrees in agriculture, biology, history, and science, PhDs in economics and politics, and many more.

For seventy-one years, I studied and advised political figures on which direction to go and which decisions to make. Yet they never listen.

All my efforts to make a better tomorrow were in vain. Now at 87, I lay dying at the hospital, accomplishing nothing except a bunch of degrees.

‘I needed to be the decision decision-maker, not the advisor.’ I tell myself as I slowly descend into darkness.

Yet suddenly, I see the light ahead as I open my eyes again.

‘Ceiling, I can see a ceiling I do not remember.’ I rise from my bed, ‘why do I feel so healthy and strong.’ I stare down at my hands.

Why do my hands look so young and healthy?
