Miya's POV

It's been a few weeks since I got back and Charlie's acting funny, he seems to get out of bed late at night go off for hours then come back in the morning thinking I won't notice but I do. But the funny thing is I never see him leave the house it's like he's doing stuff in the house, he just left so I get out of bed and follow him, he walks into the hallway and opens a door that I never knew existed he walks in and closes it behind him. Being the curious person I am I followed and entered through the door behind him, there was a set of stone stairs that led into what looked like a basement I never knew we had a basement, I slowly walked down them and sit on the middle step so I could see what was going on. Charlie was there he started talking on the phone

/"Yeah I'm gonna see if he's gonna talk this time, no I'm not gonna tell her you idiot I'll ring you after/" he said before hanging up
