Before Charlotte Cooper could react, Henry Russell approached her again. After locking eyes with her for a few seconds, he reached out and picked her up.

"Ah..." Startled by the sudden weightlessness, she reflexively clung to Henry's collar to stabilize herself.

Due to their close proximity, Charlotte felt the refreshing, cool scent of Henry's body filling her nostrils. Pink spread from her fair cheeks to her ears, and even her neck colored slightly as she blushed.

Lifting her head, she noticed the secretary staring at her. Her face burned as she buried her face in Henry's chest, like an ostrich hiding its face.

Henry noticed her actions, and the corner of his mouth involuntarily rose into a smile, thinking that Genna was adorable like this. However, he casually glanced at the secretary standing not far away, who quickly lowered his head.
