บท 175: Painful truth

"I lied to you about Carl." 

He swallowed down, he was struggling and forcing himself to remain calm when the chaos of emotions in his body was a tumult of sadness and disappointment. Meantime, seeing his gaze the nervousness, concern, and anxiety grew inside my body and I felt the need to flinch away from his gaze because I was feeling so bad for lying to him.

The way he looked at me, shattered me so intensely that I felt like I died and my heart broke. My chest grew heavy as my heart send echos of palpitations fast and loud through the walls of my chest.

Silence.

Nothing was worst than that silence maybe if he would have insulted me or busted out in anger it would be less painful than that silence.

"I..." I stuttered, my throat burned and my hands began trembling.
