Julie sat at one of the tables during dinner while Melanie and Conner had gone to get food, including hers. She pulled the end of her sweater's sleeves to hide her wrists, a habit that had continued even now. In the back of her mind, she was worried that the porcupine would do something worse than what he had done today on the stage. 

Subconsciously, her arms hugged her as if to provide herself with comfort. 

"It looks like you aren't suited for places that are cold," commented Dennis, who came with his tray of food. "May I?" 

"Yes," replied Julie, and she pushed the spare chair next to her, and Dennis smiled. "Mel and Conner have gone to get food."
