บท 186: Like shooting at flying butter

Flying low over the ground the Osprey pilot was following order to the letter, sacrifice vertical lift for horizontal speed and the earth was passing fast underneath them.

Paula's eyes were wide looking at the trees, roads and buildings zooming by in a blur then looked at Deno stunned.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"We're... Really hauling ass, and he's low! Isn't he afraid he'll hit a tree or something?"

"These pilots are highly trained Paula, I doubt he'll make such a flimsy mistake"

She nodded turning her head to Cunningham, all of them were strapped in seats to the sides of the plane, and the soldiers were sitting with broad smirks.

"He's right, Osprey pilots are experts with these things, have no fear" Cunningham said.

"I actually forgot we have a team of Marines on our side now, maybe I'll just ask you lot next time I have a question about the military" she said smiling.
