บท 219: A promise forfilled

Deno was the first to land next to Anastasia, in his hand a rabbit squirmed and kicked "Here! This should suffice!" He bellowed.

"Brother, honestly the poor rabbit is still alive" Anastasia said.

"Dead or alive its fresh..." he saw Belladonna down and held his next "What's going on?"

"She over exerted herself, I fear... I fear she might not make it"

Deno felt his will sink "It was inevitable, Belladonna went through two shifts, fought a wendigo Makkapitew, nine vampires and a werewolf, she really went all out"

Nicolas could only remain next to her and watch as she showed no more clear signs of living, but Deno was the one who grunted.

"She's not shifting back though"

"And that means?" Anastasia asked.

"It means she's still alive, living, she's barley holding on, Nicolai, feed her some meat!"

"She can't even chew brother?"

"Then chew for her!"
