The preparations were all done for the next day, this season's special ginger cookies were also packed in batches. The cinnamon rolls were taking some time to cool down, but Eve was satisfied from the way they had come out. She had also kneaded the dough for the pumpkin pies which are going to get make a huge sale for sure.

After sending her grandfather home, Eve had been a little nervous if she would be able to manage everything by herself, but in the end even though it took some extra time but things came off well. She had been cleaning isle of the kitchen, when she heard the bells at the door chime. It was pretty late, they were closed for the day and the shutter had been half closed as well, surely then it was her father who must have come to pick her up.

"Daddy is that you?" Evelyn asked in her usual casual tone.
