บท 215: Heartless

Lumielle walked confidently. Juxtaposed, Yennefer nervously tugged on her fingers, "I tried to tell her that she wasn't invited." 

She had broken the silence first.

It had been a good ploy to put Yennefer at the door, if Veronica had been there then Cosette wouldn't have been able to come in, especially since the two of them already had friction. Yennefer was malleable, easily pushed over by everyone and everything. That was why she had been killed in Lumielle's hazy first life. She had been married off to a man whose name Lumielle had forgotten. 

Her rotten memory. Lumielle's eyes looked at Yennefer, who looked on the verge of tears. 

Despite, Yennefer not being the flower of high society, she was well loved by almost everyone. Her amicable and kind personality made it hard to dislike her, she rarely whispered about people behind their backs.
