He might be able to free himself if he put all his strength, but he knew he would have no chance against Alvine even if he frees himself from his magic of gravity. So in order not to poison the tragic situation, he had let himself be done like a good little boy.

"I wouldn't dare, it's a sincere request from an old man who cares about the well-being of his subjects." He agitated and spoke these words hastily so as not to put himself on Alvine's wrong side.
