In a world overrun by zombies and mutants, humanity fights back through the use of Evolvers - people who have evolved special abilities and wielding powerful weapons. Among them is an average Evolver, Feng Zhi Ming. In his first expedition as an Evolver Academy cadet, he meets with an accident and is left behind to die. However, in his darkest moments, he unlocks a system that boosts his evolution ahead of everyone else's.
