"That innate technique is powerful. The boy is an anomaly, an anomaly that needs to be killed. So kill him, Akame, before it's too late."
…..
Surrounded by an eternal darkness, he sighed in defeat; he thought that maybe, just maybe he would be able to at least damage Gojo Satoru but reality struck him hard. He was weak. Gojo hadn't even tried against him, merely taking their fight as a game. He needed to grow strong. Stronger than the strongest. With the time that he so hungrily wished for, he wouldn't live another life in weakness. The darkness now held a miniature glow in the distance, the glow growing as time passed and soon the light illuminated the darkness. Light exuding from a diamond watch with the clock hands reading either 4am or pm. Almost as fast as it came, it vanished, dissipated into thin air.
Strange.
The feeling of cold metal against his back woke him up and slowly, his eyes began to flutter open away from the darkness, his vision now focusing on the white light hanging off a ceiling. Sitting upright away from the cold, he observed his surroundings.
"Ooh, the kid's awake." Hearing the voice, he abruptly turned his head to the sound only to be met a with a blindfolded face inches away from his face, inspecting his every movement. "Your pretty strong. For a kid ya know."
A womans voice suddenly sighed and tiredly grumbled, "Gojo leave the kid alone, he's only just woke up." Shoko Ierei, he recognised her instantly; hard not to when she had a cigarette in her mouth.
"Where am I?" Aizen spoke, feigning ignorance.
"Jujutsu High of course. And I'm your teacher." He informed, pointing at his face in excitement. "Come on, come meet your classmate, he's a little shy."
With a grab of my hand, he rushed out of the room, dragging me along side him, across an empty courtyard to a dorm room. Without knocking, he barged into the room, walking in like he owned the place but the sign on the door implied the opposite .
"Megumi, I have a new friend for you." Gojo exclaimed with a proud smile plastered on his face.
With an awkward wave, Aizen greeted, "Kusakabe Aizen, Nice to meet you." In which, the greeting was returned with a "Fushiguro Megumi, Nice to meet you to." but not before throwing a quick glare at the proudly beaming white haired man.
"Well now that you guys are besties, theres a mission for the two of you. Two special grade cursed objects are estimated to be on the same street, one near a high school and the other in an abandoned mental asylum. I'd suggest splitting up but up to you guys. Oh and your now sharing this room. Anyways, good luck kiddos."
Disappearing into thin air, Aizen and Megumi remained in the room, staring at each other from opposite ends of the room.
"So, Fushiguro pick your fight."
"Call me Megumi, and I'll take the high school I guess."
"Hmm, taking the easy route, you scared?" Aizen challenged raising an eyebrow with a slight smirk adorning his aristocratic features.
"As if," he quickly dismissed, "It would just make more sense if you walked into a mental asylum instead of me, that's all." The smirk now mirrored onto his face as he walked towards the door, putting on his jacket in the process.
Just as Megumi was about to walk past his new roommate, a hand was placed on his chest stopping his movement.
'He's strong' Megumi thought for a second.
"Tell you what, Megumi. How about a little bit of a rivalry to fuel our spirits?"
"Go on." Intrigue laced in his response. His earlier bored tone shattering.
"First one to complete their mission gets the bigger bed."
Megumi pondered on it for a second with a quick glance at the tiny bed to his right then decided a little challenge wouldn't hurt. His stoic appearance slightly breaking as a small grin of excitement formed on his face.
With a hand held out, "It's a deal, Aizen", as another hand shook it.
"May the better sorcerer win."
…..
Before him, stood a stone building slowly being infested by moss. Overwhelming cursed energy seeped through the gaps of the asylum, yet that couldn't shake him. How could it? When he was already shaking from excitement. His first mission and it was to collect a 'special grade cursed object', obviously being code for Sukuna's finger. Stepping forward, he swung open the door and its age was evident from the loud creaky sound that was expelled. Yet that didn't faze him; what fazed him was the excessive amounts of malevolent cursed energy that washed over his body. Doubt attempted to poison his mind but failed as with a rejuvenated determination, he stepped into the building and the door closed behind him.
Immediately, the darkness in the interior was broken by almost a hundred pairs of eyes ogling him and yellow teeth glistening in the dark. Aa a grin became attached to his face, he unsheathed his sword- a new one he got from the cursed tools shed- and readied himself.
With cursed energy enhancing his feet, he burst into the concert of cursed spirits and muttered,
"Mora."
This gave him 3 seconds, 3 seconds to exorcise as many spirits as possible. The cursed energy enhanced sword sliced through the frozen-in-time spirits like butter. He continued to speed through the masses as blood painted the dusty walls like a renovation. 3 seconds worn off and he soon realised.
3 seconds was all he needed to eradicate 100 low level curses.
"Impressive, he told me your technique was strange. Strong but strange." The voice of a woman interrupted his moment of pride.
In alarm, he turned to the voice to find a black haired woman clad in a black dress that ended just above her thigh, a red tie with a little diamond on it and a sword in hand.
"Who are you?" He cautiously asked," and what are you doing here?"
"Don't be boring." She groaned with an eye roll," it's not me that matters but you. You and that amazing cursed technique, a shame you have to die soon. But if it helps you sleep at night, I'm Akame, a curse user." She spoke with a little giggle at the end. From God knows where, she pulled out an odd looking candle and lit it.
"We are going to fight, got that? And when this wax fully melts, you will die, got that?"Confidence lingering off her tongue as she placed the candle on a far windowsill.
"Quite the ego, perhaps it'll be you that meets their end today." Aizen replied, while his mind prepared for battle. He knew she wasn't a small fry like these grade 3 curses. This was serious.
She let out a boisterous laugh, " Your funny, Aizen but thats not likely, not likely at all. " Her face lost all humour as the earlier smile shifted to a stoic face.
Ignoring the fact she knew his name, he chanelled cursed energy throughout his entire body and charged towards her with a burst of speed, in which she mirrored his movements making them meet in the middle. Their meeting signified by the deafening clash of swords.
