บท 118: Chapter 118 Three Xiaos Meet Golden Spirit

Thinking about the upcoming Buddhist Dharma feast at Spirit Mountain, Maitreya Buddha's thoughts began to stir with excitement.

If he could get this monkey to be the head chef for the feast, wouldn't that be a wonderful thing?

Considering the plans Buddhism was about to employ on Wukong, Maitreya just scoffed in disdain.

Why would they need to suppress Wukong to bring him into Buddhism?

Wouldn't it be better to enlighten him with reason and move him with emotion?

After returning from the Scripture Seeking, there's no need to be a Buddhist protector, right? With such culinary skills, wouldn't it be a waste?

The more Maitreya thought about it, the more it made sense to him. If Wukong were to cook at Spirit Mountain in the future, he'd definitely eat several more meals a day!

Having finished the last dish given by Sun Wukong, Maitreya Buddha wiped his mouth. Reluctantly setting down his bowl and chopsticks, he thought, this dish truly is the cream of the crop!
