"You don't wanna do that, Salvi," said Miguel, still with a hardened look.
Salvi saw the Crusaders looking up to them.
"I just accelerated time..." said Salvi. "You kill me almost immediately. I know what your ability is... But if I don't attack you... The ability doesn't activate..."
Salvi turns to Anne.
Miguel flinches as his eyes widen with rage.
"SALVI... NOOOOOOOOO!!!"
"Wait... It still happens!?" wondered Jessica. "Wait... Prometheus told me this would happen... That's it! Wait... if the Universe is destroyed and time continues... I wouldn't have a time remnant... There would be no more timelines left for me to have my consciousness go in in case of failure... Or... is that... my fate?"
"Anne Zeppeli was always meant to die..." thought Salvi. "She's a Zeppeli after all."

*SPLAT*
Miguel, with a poker face, stared at Anne with a hole in her chest.
Anne trembles in pain and vomits blood.
Miguel landed and grabbed her.
Tears fell from his face.
"Anne..." he said. His voice and breath went shaky. His hair goes back to normal as the energies around him disappear. "Anne..." he began to sob.
The Ark of the Covenant had chosen a new host...
He began to cry.
"Anne..." he whispered.
"As per my vision..." said Salvi. "Time to lay waste to this Universe... my son..."
"No..." he said, holding her.
"I love you," she whispered, smiling. "I don't want you... to become what they wanted you to become... Please..."
"I love you, too," he said. "You aren't going to die..."
"Please..." said Anne. "Please... you're the hero now... promise me that you'll act like it..."
"No, no, no, no, no..." he sobbed. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
*BOOM*
For a split second, Miguel's eyes and hair went silver. A nuclear explosion occurred, killing everyone.
"This is different," thought Jessica. The explosion was so powerful that it destroyed some of the mantles.
"Jessica..." said a voice. "This is part of the new timeline... Run, Jessica... before the world ends..."
"I'm gonna die..." she thought. "This whole time, I was the biggest asshole in the team... I didn't care what other people thought... what other people felt... Now..."
She began to run as if she was in the water right toward the explosion. White lightning left her trail.
"This is my punishment... My punishment is that I give a shit... That I care so much about others... about Miguel..." she whispered. "I care for them enough that I took Anne's fate."
Time began to rewind.
Salvi's eyes twitched, seeing all of this. THE WORLD's fists are inches away from Anne's chest.
Jessica pushed Anne away.
*SPLAT*
Jessica looks down. There's a hole in her chest.
"What!?" asked Miguel. "That's not..."
Miguel charged at Salvi and kicks him away.
Salvi picks himself up and sees what just happened.
"No..." said Salvi. "What have I done? What... WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!? Something far worse is going to happen that will bring us ALL in danger!!!"
Miguel holds Jessica and cleans her face.
"Hey..." said Miguel, with teary eyes.
"I'm the one who had to die..." said Jessica. "Because if I were to live... time would've looped again... Don't you see..." her voice went shaky. "I'm the common factor that... *gasp*... caused us to fail..."
Miguel began to weep.
Jessica leaned in for a bloody kiss.
Miguel turns to Anne.
Anne gave off a depressing sigh and nodded.
Miguel kisses back and pulls away.
"Hey..." Jessica softly said... and very calmly... "When you get to the other world... find that world's Ark of the Covenant... and find... the seven of them... One of them... is yourself..."
"What?" asked Miguel, sobbing and confused. "Otherworld?"
Kariel wakes up and sees this.
"No..." said Kariel. "Ate Jessica?"
"Kariel... what happens next... use ACT 3 as quickly as you can..." she whispered with a trembling voice.
Kariel nods.
"Seven of them... That's what Prometheus said... They'll help you reach your destiny..." whispered Jessica, turning back to Miguel. "You're the hero now... huh? Anne... needs to live... Make sure to take care of her...And... Remember his name...Stefan..."
Miguel began to sob.
"At what Goddamned cost?" he asked, shaking his head and laughing along with her.
Jessica brushes her fingers on his face.
"I love you," she said.
Miguel weeps and shakes his head.
Tears fall down from her eyes.
"Thought so," she said with a smug dying look.
Her hand falls flat on the ground.
Anne sobbed as well.
Kariel slowly stands up and hammers his fist on the ground, causing the concrete to break.
Miguel hugs Jessica's lifeless body.
"I'm sorry..." he whispered to her as he closed her eyes.
Salvi grits his teeth.
Jessica Polnareff... is dead...
Salvi charges Miguel. "THE WORLD!!! BITES THE DUST!!!"
Suddenly, Salvi's Stand disappeared.
"What!?" asked Salvi. "THE WORLD!!!"

"Hay Naku..." said Miguel. "You made me lose so much... My two best friends and my parents..."
Miguel slowly stood up and turned to Salvi.
Gold Experience Requiem's ability had finally activated.
"I disabled your Stand," said Miguel. "That is the ability of my Gold Experience Requiem. I can disable Stands... maybe I could do more... I'm not sure with how this ability works..."
Salvi struggles to get out as he woges.
"Say..." said Miguel, standing up after crossing Jessica's arms. "You're scared, aren't you?"
Salvi trembled in fear.
"You're scared that everything you worked hard for is ultimately... useless..." said Miguel. "You must feel like you've swum up and freed yourself from the grasp of the seas only to be pulled down by another drowning man. Is that correct?"
A tear falls from Salvi's eye.

Anne zips it back. "Thanks... she sighed."
"Hey..." Yoshiko growled, appearing on the battlefield.
Miguel, Anne, and Kariel turn to Yoshiko, who is now completely fine.
"Looks like some people forgot about me," Yoshiko giggled terrifyingly.
"Kariel..." said Miguel. "Use ACT 3 now..."
