Gabrielle, Narcos, and Mercuria stay alone in camp in the wilderness of Mt. Banahaw. They stayed alone in the creeping of the night. Fireflies stayed flying by.
The group eat roasted Ibong Adarna.
"Why the hell are we eating Ibong Adarna?" asked Mercuria. "Isn't this a sacred bird?"
"You're one to talk. You're a cop and you've committed manslaughter and right now we're trespassing and attempting theft of government-owned fruits," said Gabrielle.
*GROWL!!!*
The trio looks west, we're the noise came from.
"What was that?" asked Gabrielle.
"Does anyone else think that we're constantly asking that question the moment we started this adventure?" asked Narcos.
The trio follow a trail that led them to a bundle of leaves. They hid underneath the bushes and saw a mansion in the woods guarded by Blutbaden.
"What do you think are they guarding in that mansion?" asked Narcos.
The trio is back in the camp.
"That doesn't matter," said Gabrielle. "What matters is that we stay here. Together. We're here for the fruit and nothing else."
"I think I'd like to see what lays within that mansion," said Mercuria. "Could be an Ark of the Covenant." She shrugged.
"Could be a person," said Gabrielle.
"Or buttons!" smiled Narcos.
The two women stared at Narcos while shaking their heads in confusion.
"Well?" asked Narcos. "Are we gonna sit here or are we gonna figure out what's in that cabin?"
The other two shrugged as they thought for a moment.
"Fine," sighed Mercuria.
The trio sneaked around the bushes.
*sniff... sniff...*
The Blutbaden cannot pick up their scents.
"Gladly, I have wolfsbane on me," said Gabrielle.
"So that's what this stuff is for?" asked Narcos.
"Yep," said Mercuria. "Can't smell you. I can smell someone inside, though. That person isn't Blutbaden."
"What does he smell like?" asked Gabrielle.
"A... person," said Mercuria.
"Shall we?" asked Narcos. "I can taste buttons already."
There are two guards at the front gate.
Gabrielle takes out Stone Free, which grabs a rock from the ground.
"Ora..." Gabrielle whispered as the rock struck both Blutbaden in the head in light speed, knocking both out.
The trio sneak to the main gate. Gabrielle goes through the gate by unraveling herself. She uses strings to help the other pair over the gate.
They see another guard on the balcony. Kiss tosses another stone on his head. He falls to the ground and accidentally presses his trigger as shots are fired. He drops to the ground, knocked out.
The trio sneaks inside as Gabrielle uses Stone Free to wrap her string around each of the Blutbaden's necks and suffocate each of them as they drop to the sky.
They enter as Narcos uses Coldplay to freeze the incapacitated guards onto the ground and floor.
The trio high five and sneak everywhere in the house. No one's inside. No one is upstairs, downstairs, or anywhere.
"Well," said Mercuria. "This was a dead-end. Let's go eat our dinner back at camp-..."
"Shush," said Gabrielle.
Her ear twitches. She woges into an Aswang and ticks her wings. She ticks them louder as she senses a structure underneath.
Gabrielle steps loudly on the floor.
"SHUSH!!!" cried Mercuria. "Do you want us to be Blutbad Chow!?"
"You're a Blutbad. We'd be fine!" said Gabrielle.
*Step! Step! Step! Tuk! Tuk!*
Gabrielle sees that the floor near the corner is hollow.
Gabrielle woges her hand into claws and cuts out the carpet.
"Gabrielle! We should get out of here!" yelled Mercuria.
"Relax! I'll weave it back into a carpet!"
She sees a trap door below her.
She uses her strings to unlock the trapdoor's lock. The lock opens, and she opens the trap door.
"Hello?" asked a male voice. "Is anyone there?"
"Smells like Blutbad," said Mercuria.
She prepares Kiss. Narcos prepares his icicles.
"Wait," said Gabrielle. "He's locked up. We should get in there."
"What if he's a criminal!?" asked Mercuria.
*SHATTER!!!*
The Blutbaden begin to woge and rise from the ground, breaking the ice that froze them into the ground.
Gabrielle smiles at Mercuria.
"Fine! Let's go!"
The trio hops inside and shut the trap door. Narcos freezes the trapdoor so the Blutbaden can't open it.
"Well?" asked Gabrielle. "What now-? OH MY GOD!!!"
The man chained on the ground, shirtless and only wearing torn pants, with bare feet, sighed in relief and shivered with fear.
"Who are you people?" asked the man. He had a short beard and long curly hair. He looks bloody, beaten, and bruised.
He erstewoges as Gabrielle's eyes turn black.
"Oh... son of a..." said the man. "Well... I guess this is it."
Mercuria and Narcos are confused.
"What's wrong?" asked Narcos.
"He thinks I'm here to kill him," said Gabrielle. "He saw my eyes when he woged."
"He woged?" asked Mercuria.
"Yeah," said Gabrielle.
Gabrielle looks at the pair. "So are you two," said Gabrielle.
"Wait... is it your black eyes?" asked Mercuria.
"Look closely," said Gabrielle.
"Oh. I can see my woge from over there!" smiled Narcos.
"So do I!" smiled Mercuria.
"Excuse me," said the tortured blutbad. "But could you please explain to me why are you here?"
"Oh," said Narcos. "We're here for the Locacaca."
"Oh... good... we want the same thing," said the blutbad. "Are you going to kill me over it?"
"What!? No!" yelled Gabrielle. "We're the good guys!"
"Okay... great," said the blutbad.
"What's your name?" asked Gabrielle.
The man sighs. "Monroe."
"Okay," said Gabrielle. "Monroe. A very... familiar name."
"Have you seen a friend of mine?" asked Monroe.
"Who?" asked Gabrielle.
"Nick. Burkhardt. 49-years-old. A Grimm like you."
"Nick Burkhardt?" whispered Gabrielle. "Nick B.!? Wait... My Dad was a friend of his! Nick Burkhardt! I've heard stories of him before!"
"To answer your question, we don't know," said Narcos.
"Oh my God," said Monroe. "You're his kid. He's a friend... from fifteen years ago... Where... Where is he?"
"He's dead," said Gabrielle. "Stefan killed him."
"Oh... God... Oh my God..." said Monroe. "I'm so sorry. Is Stefan-?"
"He's dead, too," said Gabrielle. "He and dad kinda killed each other."
"Oh... that's the first good news I've heard since I've got to this Earth," said Monroe.
"You're not from this Earth?" asked Gabrielle.
"Earth-D4C-Three," said Monroe, raising his hand. "Is he also a Wesen?"
"Rock Human. He's with us," said Gabrielle.
"Huh... Exactly why we're here," said Monroe. "Something big is coming. Bigger than any of us."
Howling could be heard outside.
"First, we have to find a way to get out of here," said Mercuria.
*BANG!!! BANG BANG BANG!!! BANG!!!*
*woooooo!!!*
*GROWL!!!*
That was from outside. Someone's shooting down the Blutbaden.
"Someone should get up there," said Mercuria. "Narcos-... Gabrielle?" Mercuria looks left and right. "Where'd she go?"
Narcos points upward.
"Ugh..." sighed Mercuria. "Hey. How does Ibong Adarna sound to you?" she turned to Monroe.
"What's that?" asked Monroe.
"A sacred bird we killed," said Narcos.
"Oh... Well... No thanks. I'm vegan," said Monroe.
"Isn't Gabrielle pescatarian?" asked Narcos.
"No. I'm just... full-on... vegan..." said Monroe.
"There are some Burnham Vegetables in the van," said Mercuria.
"Good... Some of that, please," said Monroe.
Meanwhile... up above...
Gabrielle appears before a man with a pair of metal axes on his back and a staff on his holster. He wore a black shirt, black jacket, black gloves, black shoes, and black pants. He uses the axes to decapitate the last Blutbaden. He was handsome, with a cleft chin and cheekbones. He had black hair and looked like he was of-German descent. He looked rather young... for his age...
"Uh... hi. We're trying to not have any casualties here?" asked Gabrielle.
The man sees her and approaches her.
"Hey... Look, dude... You should stay away from me," said Gabrielle.
She Erstewoges out of fear.
The man's eyes turn black.
"Oh... wow... You're a-..."
The man spins and swings his ax toward her neck.
She woges back to normal.
She ducks as Stone Free blasts a punch into his face.
*POW!!!*
*GRR!!!*
The man managed to grab Stone Free's fist.
"What-..." asked Gabrielle. "How'd you-?"
The man punches her in the face as the pair attack each other with hand-to-hand combat.
He punches and chops her with his fists as she blocks and kicks him repeatedly.
*CLANG!!!*
Gabrielle blocks another swing with Stone Free as Stone Free gives an ORA Rush.
The man brings out the staff as a shockwave occurs from the staff's striking point. She is lodged backward. She lands on her feet by tumbling backward.
"That's it!" She Wahrewoges and stomped toward the man as Stone Free repeatedly punched toward him. The man handsprings backward and toward the wall. He runs up on the sidewalls and landed behind her. He swings the ax once more as Stone Free grabs the ax and tries to break it.
"Tch-..." she whispered, realizing that Stone Free's hands began to crack.
The man kicks Stone Free in the chest as Gabrielle has the damage reflected on her chest. She backs away, slowly. She woges back to her normal face.
"Right..." her voice went raspy. "Us Grimms can see and touch Stands despite being slow and being non-Stand-Users."
"You're not a Grimm. You're an Aswang Royale," said the man.
"No... I'm a Black-Eyes, dude," she said.
"Oh..." he sighed. "Why are you here?"
"We just wanted to see what these guys were hiding... We found out it was just some Blutbad..."
"Well... that 'some Blutbad' is a close friend of mine," said the man. "Where is he?"
"Wait... are you Nick Burkhardt?"
"Yeah. Where is he?"
"My friends are breaking him out... I'm Miguel JoJo's daughter."
"Oh... Great. Where's-?"
"Gone... For... a long time now."
"Oh... My condolences. I'm sorry."
"What... why are you two here?"
"A war is coming... Sadly, I don't have your father to talk about this with-..."
Monroe appears as Nick turns to him. He smiles and approached the man, hugging him.
"Thanks, man," Monroe sighed in relief.
"We should talk somewhere safe and private," said Nick. "Where the Dark Gems aren't watching."
Nick eyes a triangular eye on the wall of the mansion. "And where that guy can't see us."
"Okay..." said the trio, confused.
