บท 5: The book of Zumora
"The holy book of ZUMORA, the book by kjoru the ten seeds of wisdoms CHOOSES YOU" the Old Man says as gesturing the book to me.
Walking about half miles, the Old Man calls me for some books "The book choose me" I laughed softly.
"You are chosen one Jaxe Marco Cooper, you are the processor of the holy book of ZUMORA" the man said with seriousness of his face.
"How did you know my name" I asked the man, "And why would a book chose me, A book" specified saying the book.
"The book knows you son", he continues "Back ago from 100 years a book is passed from one processor to another before another inorder to fulfill the dynamic of the book, it was passed along to me before you now kid".
"And what I'm I suppose to do with it". I took the book from his hands.
"Read it, learn and besides what are people supposed to do with books", the old man jokes.he continues "the first processor of the book and author KJORU the son of the ZUMORA tribes longs ago before the slave trade in the 1200 BC demonstrate all the encounter of this spherical we are living in right now".
"You mean the earth right" following up with his ancient story, "call it what you call it; the book will teaches how to overcome the modern problems and you need the fulfill the dimensional dynasty of ZUMORA".
I looked at the book which was very old and dirty, with the title called ZUMORA the ten seeds of wisdoms; I was like 49% sure of what this man just said but if this is the way of showing his gratitude for my help I should kindly accepts "Thanks for the book".
"It's not just a book, it is different from other book" he laughed loudly like those of witches in horror movies.
"Okay I'll go now". I signals him and left putting the book in my backpack. I walk like 30 feets and look back, I saw the man no more; Scared I ran to check but I saw the Old Man and his cart gone"
"What; where did the Old Man just went", This must be joke, it's almost sunset " Oh God the movie fuck" I ran as fast my legs could take me, I need to see the Guardian of the Galaxy 2 with Castro.
I ran home quickly take my shower, Thank God mum isn't here yet because he would scold me for coming late; put up my Mickey jacket and some black jeans and took some body I check the time it was already late.
My phone beeped and it was Castro calling "where in the fuck is you it's already 6" he asked him; "I met a crazy Old Man, I will tell you when I reach there".
Castro Morgan house is just 3 blocks away and not too far from Sky Cinema, so I ran there probably he would carry us with his old lady bike that's is the only transport we have.
I arrived at Castro place, he was already prepared with his bike outside, "Let's go man" I quickly entered his bike and sky cinema we go; we arrived about 10 miuntes later, I purchased tickets only to realize that Galaxy of the Guardians movie had already been on viewed before we come stating that the movie was from 4:30 quite early than I expected, the only movie remaining that day was Barbie, so we had to watch it; it's was a bit interesting and I got to admit he deserves the ticket paying for.
"So you said you met an Old Man right", "Yeah I meet I saved his life". I replied him immediately.
"You saved his life, how come". he asked seem to be in disbelief, "I saved the Old Man life, he was picking a bunch of shits on the road unaware of a car coming thinking he was deaf but yeah he wasn't, I have to help him pushed his cart from Lane 1 to 3 and that's why I was late, then he gave me a book called the ZUMORA the ten seeds of wisdom".
"And that why were late for the Guardian of the Galaxy, and I haven't heard about that book" he gestured and continues "Williams sister is having birthday at their place on Tomorrow night by 7 we are gonna go".
"Yeah man we are gonna and probably we might see her there", I told him. "Who... Ariel" he said; "Yeah who do you think I was talking about" I questions him.
I sighted Maxwell from like six seats from Castro and Mine, I whispered to him but he didn't care cause there were lot of people and the movie were about to end so everybody were focused.
When the movie ended, I went to meet before he was about to go "Hey Max wait up" he saw me and turned back and wait, we hugged and he asked "What are you doing here Jaxe"; "What do people do in cinema, they watch film" I asked playfully.
Castro who was at by back, I have to introduce him to Maxwell, "Castro this is Maxwell guy I was talking about who has a crush on Debra that hot chick" I gestured over to Maxwell who laughs "And this is my buddy Castro who has a crush on Ariel Sullivan who is a senior". Maxwell frowned at me before he handshakes with him and they both HI themselves.
"Who do you came with" I asked, "Oh my elder brother Micheal we came with his girlfriend, so I'm gonna go there are probably waiting for me see ya later", he said before leaving, "See you at school" I said.
Me and Castro Morgan had to leave for the best Pizza shop, we bought one big size one with 4 bottles of Vodka which we get on high and drunk, that was our plan afterwards and forgetting that Castro have to drive which he ensure that two bottles of Vodka can't make him drunk. We arrived home at 9.
I ran straight to my room with sleepy eyes, Mom probably asleep now gonna be ready for her scoldings tomorrow, with tighty sleepy eyes I think I mistakes using the Book of ZUMORA as pillow, silly Me; this book was supposed to be treated seriously, I remember chanting about and dreaming of those scolding by my teacher for poor grades, I just wish I was smart; I really wish wish.....
