Yusuf Zuck dialed Ruth Wilcox's number, but there was no answer.

He called three times in quick succession, and still, nobody picked up.

By the fourth attempt, halfway through dialing, Yusuf Zuck hung up. If she didn't want to answer, even a hundred calls wouldn't change her mind.

Yusuf Zuck threw the phone aside and suddenly remembered what Mia had said: Ruth Wilcox had given up everything to return, even stripped of her family shares, and only had two million on her person.

Could the Wilcox Family be so excessively cruel, exploiting her because she had no parents? And what about her grandfather? Why wasn't he on her side?
