"Are you just wanting to go to Soveth because you're curious?" Davy asked Elen because he was already starting to feel close to her and become more interested in her.

Davy now knew that Elen may have always seemed lively and friendly on the outside, but she was much more dangerous than he had thought. Still, he wasn't more careful with her than he had been before.

He had never thought of Elen as anything but too friendly and naive, to begin with.

Elen nodded and drank some water. "Yeah, I'm only curious. Nothing else, and no one, not even from our clan, knows that I plan to go there," she said with a smile as if she were happy with what she had just said.

Davy's eyebrows moved as he tried to keep his expression steady. No, he should have gotten used to Elen's personality by now. She was so carefree that Davy had no idea what she would look like once she got serious.
