บท 39: CHAPTER 39

Zona got to their house. She opened the door gently and entering into the house. Dylan was sitting on the couch, franked his face and looking at his sister as she was walking in. He was wearing a round neck shirt and brown jeans and used a wristwatch. He dressed lovely and smartly. He was going to work.
He had late for work, but since Zona hasn't yet back he had to wait. He couldn't leave only their sick mother at home. He was really angry at Zona. He didn't even greet her, just franked his face.
"Dylan, you didn't greet me and I'm even greeted you, you refused to answer. What is wrong?" Zona said gently. Dylan stopped up with anger showed all over him.
"Why would I reply you? You know I will go to work, look at the time that you are just coming" Dylan said loudly.
"It's every twenty minutes I'm calling the person that will handover to me to exercise patient. I was telling him different lies, finding different excuses. Do you want me to lose the small job I have?"
"I'm so sorry, Dylan. It was something that came up. Please, I'm sorry" Zona said in cool tone.
"And I know that it's hospital you would be coming from. It's Aria you went to see again. Put your brother's job at stake because of someone" he was talking with anger.
"Dylan, I said I'm sorry now. I'm sorry" Zona said in cool tone.
"You won't believe that Aria's mother called the Doctor to switch Aria's life support machine off. That was why I quickly went to the hospital maybe I could able to do something because I don't want Aria died"
"Sister, but you said Aria is the daughter of that woman" he said gently.
"Yes, she gave birth to Aria" Zona replied.
"And she wants the child died. She called the doctor herself to switch the machine off. So what of it, she doesn't wake up as the Doctor switch off the machine?" Dylan too was so shocked to hear that.
"She doesn't care. It's her husband's wish she always obeyed" Zona said in cool tone.
"That is why i always pity Aria and make sure that I'm with her as the case maybe"
"So, how is Aria now? What have happened now?" Dylan asked.
"Ohh! Luckily for Aria, the young man that Doctor told me that he is her friend showed up. He heard of it as well, so he came over. He has told the Doctor that he will continue paying the money. I'm just happy"
"I'm happy too that she sees someone to help her. But sister, don't allow that to delay you again. It won't good if I lose the small job that I have" he said with serious look.
"It's won't happened again. I am sorry" Zona replied gently.
"I need to start going. I'm keeping someone waiting" Dylan carried his bag on the couch. He crossed it over body, and wanted to be leaving.
"Is mother sleeping?" Zona asked him. He stopped walking and turned back.
"Yes, she is. The food she will eat when she wakes up is inside the warmer on the kitchen cabinet there. Take care, sister. Bye" he said and leaving.
"Bye" Zona replied. Dylan left the house.
She looked around the living room. She put the handbag down on the table, and going to their mother's room to check on her. She came back to the living room after some minutes.
"I believe one day everything will be fine" she said with sad voice as she got down to the living room. She went to the kitchen. She was checking everywhere and wanted to prepare something to eat.

It was in the morning of the following day. Henry had arrived to the company and he was in his office. Aria had gone to the hospital to meet her friend.
Henry was busy calling Riley's number but she didn't pick. He had been calling her since yesterday as he returned back from the hospital, but Riley didn't answer.
"Huu! Why is Riley doing like this? I'm sorry now" it was because Henry hung up the phone that was why she was angry and decided not to pick his calls.
Henry didn't concentrate at work. His mind was with her. He didn't attend to anything as he resumed to company, it was Riley he busy calling and texting.
"Riley is really angry. I know what to do" he said gently. He took his second phone on the desk and started searching for a contact on it. He copied it on the other phone and dialing the number.
"Hello, Muhammad. How are you doing?" Henry asked.
"I'm good, Sir. Its being a while" Muhammad said with smiling face.
"Please, I want to come and see Riley and I don't want her to know. I need the address of the location that you guys are"
"Help me to send it, right now"
"Alright Sir, you will see it now" Muhammad replied. Henry hung up the call. As he was removing the phone from his ear, the address entered on it.
"Oh! God will bless Muhammad" Henry said in cool tone. He took his car key on the desk, and leaving the office. He was still coming back to the office so he left his laptop and other things there.
He came out from the office, walking gently and going to the elevator. He pressed his phone, made a call and hung up after some minutes. Henry was a lover boy. He always loved and care for any woman he liked or love.
"Sir, it's your office I'm going. There is something to tell you Sir" the secretary jammed him at the front of the elevator.
"As you can see, I'm going out. Keep whatever you want to tell me still I come back okay" Henry said in cool tone.
"Alright Sir" the secretary replied. Henry entered into the elevator and it closed.
Henry got down to the compound, going to where his car was parked. He entered into the car and driving out.

Riley was preparing for the next shoot. She was sitting on a chair, facing the dressing mirror. She was looking at those dressing for, watching what they were doing.
The lady who was her assistant entered into the room with a small beautiful fancy bag in her hand. She walked gently to Riley, standing beside her.
"Ma, someone brought this package and the flower for you" the lady said. Riley told those dressing for her to stop. She turned her body and faced the lady.
"And who is that?" Riley asked.
"He said your man" the lady replied. Riley looked at her and collected the package and the flower from her. She opened the bag, looked at what was inside it.
"And where is he?" She asked.
"It's a delivery man that brought it, ma. He just said it's from your man"
"Alright, you can go" Riley said gently. The lady obeyed that, and wanted to be leaving.
"Hey! Come back here" she called her back. The lady turned back immediately and faced her.
"How is that your idiot boyfriend or baby daddy? I hope you have moved in with him as the lawyer instructed and he behaves himself?"
"Yes ma, everything is fine and settled. All thanks to you, Ma" the lady replied.
"You too know your right as a woman and stop acting like a fool. You can go" Riley said loudly. The lady greeted her and leaving.
"Be the only one single handily taking care of pregnancy and child is what I hate most. Two of you must to be present for the child" she said loudly and hissed.
"Henry, sent all these" she said. She smells the flower. She opened the bag again, checked what are inside it.
"All these is not enough, he needs to bring himself down here and apologize—" said with pride.
"I'm here already, love" she heard Henry's voice said. Henry entered into the room with Muhammad. Muhammad stopped walking and Henry keeps walking closed to her.
"I'm sorry for what happened. It was something emergency, so I didn't have choice than to go. I'm sorry please" Henry said in cool tone.
"I'm important than anything" Riley said loudly.
"Off course you're, I'm sorry" Henry said with romantic tone and smiling gently.
"Anyways, apology accepted" Riley hugged him and showed her appreciation for the gifts. Henry just giggled.
